This rather odd looking bird, is the Shoebill, known as the "non-moving" bird.
It stays at its place without moving a step for hours.
But this rare footage taken by a caretaker in Nasu, Japan, shows the rare movement of the Shoebill.
He is carrying twigs to create a nest but drops it while carrying it around.
We were very lucky finding this by asking caretakers if we can see their smartphones.
The shoebill is an unusual-looking bird that grows up to 1.5m tall with a wingspan over 2m. Its habitat is restricted to swampy areas of Zambia, Sudan, eastern Zaire, Rwanda, Uganda and western Tanzania.

Cedrik Fermont (Đức) và Nhung Nguyễn (Việt Nam), hợp tác cùng những người đóng góp tư liệu âm thanh và dịch giả.
Cedrik Fermont sinh ra tại Zaire (Cộng hoà dân chủ Congo) và hiện sống và làm việc tại Berlin, Đức, Cedrik Femont (nghệ danh Kirdec) đã tham gia mạng lưới cộng đồng âm nhạc điện tử và thể nghiệm từ cuối những năm 1980, với các tác phẩm âm thanh cho video, sân khấu và vũ đạo, các luận văn cũng như bài giảng. Anh điều hành Syrphe, một nền tảng (bao gồm hãng đĩa, chương trình radio, công ty quảng bá sự kiện hòa nhạc, v.v.) dành riêng cho âm nhạc điện tử và thử nghiệm từ châu Á và châu Phi.
Nhung Nguyễn là một nghệ sĩ âm thanh trẻ của Việt Nam hiện đang sinh sống tại Hà Nội, đang thử nghiệm trên nhiều lĩnh vực thẩm mỹ và phương thức biểu đạt phi truyền thống. Từ năm 2014, Nhung đã thực hiện các tác phẩm với nghệ danh Sound Awakener và hợp tác với các hãng đĩa quốc tế. Ngoài sự nghiệp solo của mình, Nhung còn hợp tác với các nghệ sĩ từ nhiều lĩnh vực khác nhau, thường xuyên bổ sung yếu tố âm thanh vào các trải nghiệm hình ảnh.
Hai nghệ sĩ gặp nhau tại Hà Nội vào năm 2019. Ngay từ năm 2016, Nhung Nguyễn đã được giới thiệu trong cuốn sách của Cedrik Fermont và Dimitri della Faille’s, cuốn sách có tên gọi: 'Not your world music: Noise in South East Asia' ('Không phải World music thông thường: Nhạc Noise tại Đông Nam Á').
Dự án mới này đánh dấu nỗ lực chung giữa hai nghệ sĩ nhằm khám phá khả năng hợp tác qua không gian ảo, sự đa dạng của không gian âm thanh và trải nghiệm của con người trên khắp thế giới. Hai nghệ sĩ quan tâm đến âm thanh trong bối cảnh văn hóa cũng như âm nhạc kết hợp điện tử-acoustic và nghệ thuật âm thanh. Đối với dự án này, họ sẽ sử dụng các kho lưu trữ những bản ghi âm thực địa của cá nhân họ, được ghi lại trong thời kỳ đại dịch - giãn cách xã hội ở cả hai quốc gia, và sử dụng chúng như điểm khởi đầu cho cả quá trình nghiên cứu và sản xuất phần trình diễn.
Dự án nghiên cứu sẽ bao gồm một loạt các cuộc phỏng vấn với những người ở Đức và Việt Nam về trải nghiệm của họ với các âm thanh nơi họ sống cũng như các kí ức cá nhân khác về âm thanh. Ngoài ra, các tư liệu phỏng vấn này còn nêu chủ đề về cách các nhân vật phỏng vấn thích nghi với cuộc sống giữa đại dịch. Cách tiếp cận sẽ là phỏng vấn trực tiếp hoặc online tại Việt Nam và Đức nhằm thu thập các ghi chú ngắn bằng giọng nói. Các câu trả lời sẽ được phiên dịch và sử dụng làm tài liệu tham khảo và chất liệu âm thanh cho buổi biểu diễn.
Buổi hòa nhạc điện tử sẽ diễn ra trực tuyến, vào lúc 7 giờ tối ngày 05.07.2021 trên fanpage của Goethe-Institut Hanoi.
