OH HYUK KẾT HỢP VỚI KRAEJI/YAEJI TRONG SET NHẠC DÀI HƠN 1 TIẾNG

Ngày 29.04 vừa rồi, trên YouTube của NTS Radio Live - một platform chia sẻ nhạc toàn cầu đã đăng tải video clip thành viên nhóm 혁오 HYUKOH đang jam cùng với Kraeji/Yaeji (DJ/Producer mang hai dòng máu Hàn Quốc và Mỹ). Trong video clip dài hơn một tiếng, họ đã cùng chơi nhạc với nhau, remix rất nhiều ca khúc của các nghệ sĩ trong & ngoài nước.

Đặc biệt, track 'Nước Mắm Is My Holy Water' của Kim Dürbeck (nằm trong compilation album 'Nhạc Gãy Tổng Hợp Số 1' của Gãy Collective) cũng nằm trong set nhạc này.

Dua Lipa的流行天后地位早已確立，今年初的第二張大碟《Future Nostalgia》毫無意外叫好又叫座，所以延伸而來的這張混音專輯《Club Future Nostalgia》同樣大受矚目。

當然，率先披露的〈Levitating〉最新Remix 版本加入了Madonna、Missy Elliott兩大重量級天后跨刀，無疑成功地先聲奪人:

而對於亞洲樂迷而言，更具話題的是星野源受邀為〈Good in Bed〉操刀Remix，而2018年底Dua Lipa與BLACKPINK合作單曲〈Kiss and Make Up〉也有全新混音版本收錄，意外促成兩大日韓巨星同框：

但對我來說，《Club Future Nostalgia》可能是近年來最重要的流行混音專輯。因為在這張混音專輯裡，「DJ」的角色與美學被大大地凸顯了出來。

首先，負責為〈Levitating〉炮製Remix的美國指標女性DJ/製作人 The Blessed Madonna (原名The Black Madonna)，不但獲Dua Lipa欽點負責這張混音專輯的A & R，兩人更共同發想讓《Club Future Nostalgia》以DJ連續混音的Mixtape形式呈現。

再者，操刀混音的陣容除了上述的星野源、還有Mark Ronson這樣的巨星之外，更可看到不同世代的DJ/製作人加入：除了有近期聲勢持續看漲的韓國Yaeji，更開心的是Masters At Work、Dimitri From Paris、Mr Fingers、Moodymann等足以留名DJ歷史的殿堂級傳奇名字出現在名單裡。

而最讓我驚喜的是，自己一直以來在DJ時很熱愛運用、曾在2000年中葉以降蔚為風潮的mash-up手法，居然也在《Club Future Nostalgia》裡巧妙重現，靈活地扮演起串連現代與經典的橋樑。

甚麼是mash-up呢? 用最簡單的說法，就是將兩首(或以上)調性一致的歌曲結合成一首全新風貌的歌曲，就好比練武之人將兩派武功融會貫通再創出一套全新招式般。

舉例來說，當年Kylie Minodie曾以天后姿態做過這樣的嘗試，將她的排行名曲〈 Can't Get You Out Of My Head 〉與New Order經典作〈Blue Monday〉mash-up成〈Can't Get Blue Monday Out Of My Head〉 ：
