    📖保證、確保📖

    ✔️ensure表示確保某件事情會照預期發生,等於make sure,但主詞和受詞都不能是人,主詞時常是某個機構、方法、制度、或設備,而受詞則是欲達到的理想或狀態。

    ✔️guarantee含有承諾的意味,包括承諾給某人某樣東西,某樣好處,或自己 為他做某事,所以也用在正式書面的承諾,如法律保證的權利、 商品的保證期限與內容、以及擔保借貸的還款等等。guarantee和ensure有許多共同的主詞和受詞,表示保證達到某種理想或狀態, 但是guarantee的主詞可以是人或事物,間接受詞是人,直接受詞 則是事物,而ensure的主詞和受詞都不能是人,也很少有間接受 詞,而且guarantee接的理想或狀態有可能是可遇不可求的,如財富 (wealth)或利潤(profit),含有不確定因素。

    ✔️assure表示主詞向受詞擔保某件事情是真的或者一定會發生,以減輕其擔憂,主詞通常是人或可靠的事物,受詞通常是人。

    ✔️warrant表示保證某件事情的真實性,常用在正式官方的聲明,如保證版權和著作權等,後面常接that子句(例如The Author hereby warranto that the publisher is the owner of the copyright in the script) , 也常用在對商品的保證。另外也更常表示值得或需要可證 (例如What he has done warranted a punishment) 。當名詞時表示逮捕狀,搜查令,委託書,或證書等。

    ✔️Vouch指根據自己的經驗或知識而表示相信某事物是真的或好的,也可指為某人的品行做擔保,後面介系詞常用for,受詞可以是人或物。
