Hi everybody, today I would like share with guys about lovely kid Hafidz Zamri. ❤️ - KUALA LUMPUR: Parents of five-year-old Muhammad Hafidz Zamri, are appealing for donations to help their son undergo an open-heart surgery, which may save his life. Hafidz is suffering from a condition known as atrioventricular septal defect (AVSD), where the valves which control the flow of blood may have been incorrectly formed and there are holes between the chambers of the right and left sides of the heart. - Other than AVSD, Hafidz also suffers from large right isomerism, unbalanced vertices with the hypoplastic left ventricular, dominant right ventricle, severe pulmonary stenosis, right arc, and right superior vena cava (SVC), which all severely affect his heart. - Their son, who is the youngest of three siblings, has to undergo the Fontan surgery, which is a type of open-heart operation at the Gleneagles Kuala Lumpur Hospital. The family, who lives in Ampang, needs RM90,000 for the procedure. - The mother, Norhazah Othman, 40, said after Hafidz was born, he was warded for eight days at the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) of Sungai Petani Hospital. - The Fontan operation will help divert all of the body's venous return (blood flow) to the lungs directly. - Without the operation, Hafidz faces the risk of a shortened life span and the quality of his life will be impaired. - Hafidz's father, Zamri Zahari, 40, works as a civil servant.
