    Nomura(野村)的策略家發現, 當CEO在電話會議中, 用簡單易懂的方式來說明公司業務的話, 公司的股價會比使用複雜語言的CEO的公司股價還高.

    Mezrich found that simple really does matter. Using the Gunning Fog index, he ranked companies in the Russell 1000 into tenths, based on their earnings conference calls. Over the past three years, the companies with the simplest language have returned 19.2% annualized, beating the equal-weighted Russell 1000’s 15.7%. Those with the most complex language returned just 13.4%. The complex language portfolio was also more volatile than the simple language portfolio.

    “Since senior management delivers an earnings call, simple language may produce more confidence among investors in management’s ability to deliver on their vision,” Mezrich explains. “Hence, simpler language earnings calls can lead to subsequent stock outperformance.”

    This no-bake cheesecake is made using the yogurt cups as is.Try to make it by pushing in your favorite fruit.Oops, I accidentally used kiwi for the gelatin again!Kiwi is hard to harden with gelatin, so be careful when taking it out.
    *Recipe* (for 3 pieces)
    1.Prepare the fruit to be placed inside.
    2.Remove the yogurt from the cup. Wash the cup lightly.
    3.Sprinkle 9g of powdered gelatin in 30g of water.
    4.Add 180g of yogurt (2) and 20g of honey to 90g of softened cream cheese and mix smoothly.Eat the rest of the yogurt.
    5.Heat (3) in a 600w microwave oven for about 20 seconds to dissolve the gelatin.
    6.Add (5) while mixing (4).
    7.Add 10g of lemon juice while mixing (6).
    8.Fill the cup about eight‐tenths full with (7).
    9.Push the fruit from (1) into the cup.
    10.Place a store-bought biscuit and cool in the refrigerator until it hardens.
    11.Done.
    It might have looked better if I had frozen it so I could take it out neatly.

    ヨーグルトカップをそのまま使って作るレアチーズケーキです。好きなフルーツをズボッと押し込んで作ってみてください。おっとうっかり、またキウイをゼラチンものに使ってしまった。キウイはゼラチンで固まりにくいので取り出すときは注意が必要です。
    *レシピ*（3個分）
    １．中に入れるフルーツの準備をしておく。
    ２．ヨーグルトをカップから取り出す。カップは軽く洗っておく。
    ３．水 30gに粉ゼラチン 9gをふり入れておく。
    ４．柔らかくしたクリームチーズ 90gに（2）のヨーグルト 180gとハチミツ20gを入れ、なめらかに混ぜる。残ったヨーグルトは食べちゃう。
    ５．（3）を600wの電子レンジで20秒ほど加熱し、ゼラチンを溶かす。
    ６．（4）を混ぜながら（5）を入れる。
    ７．（6）を混ぜながらレモン汁 10g入れる。
    ８．カップに（7）を8分目程度入れる。
    ９．（1）のフルーツをズボッと押し込む。
    １０．市販のビスケットをのせ、冷蔵庫で固まるまで冷やす。
    １１．でけた。
    冷凍した方がキレイに取り出せて、映えたかも。

    Whether Michael Jordan is around or not, Tracy McGrady loves playing against the Washington Wizards.

    McGrady scored a career-high 50 points, including the go-ahead basket with 12 seconds to play, as the Orlando Magic snapped a four-game losing streak with a 99-96 victory over the Jordan-less Wizards.

    McGrady made 18-of-29 shots and 10-of-15 free throws as he passed his previous career high of 49, set April 13, 2001 against the Wizards.

    When Jordan announced his comeback, McGrady said he had circled his first game against Washington on the calendar. On December 5, he thoroughly outplayed Jordan in a 102-74 road victory.

    Jordan wasn't around for this one, missing his sixth straight game following knee surgery. But McGrady still found the motivation to excel, especially down the stretch.

    After a free throw by Courtney Alexander gave Washington a 96-96 tie with 33 seconds to go, McGrady took the inbounds pass and milked the clock with a dribble. He drove right, got a pick and elevated over Alexander for a hanging eight-footer that gave Orlando the lead.

    Tyronn Lue missed a lane jumper and McGrady pulled down his 10th rebound before being fouled with eight-tenths of a second left. He split the free throws, but Chris Whitney's potential tying 3-pointer was short at the buzzer.
