波特蘭有間很可愛的調酒吧 Straightaway ，外表明亮很像咖啡廳，裡面專賣調酒，但不是調酒師現調那種，是已經一罐一罐調好的~

可以選擇調酒flight來試喝看看，五杯$20，還有附五個搭酒的小點心超可愛，我覺得每杯酒都超好喝，有些甜、有些酸、有些比較烈，可以滿足各種需求的人，完全不輸現調的調酒，點心也很好吃哈哈哈

如果喝了有喜歡，可以直接現場買一罐回家，它也有出那種禮盒包裝，就是裡面比較小瓶但各種口味都有，連我平常不太喝酒的朋友喝到都很喜歡，我們有買一瓶Negroni自己另外再加點茶超級好喝！

裡面環境清新可愛，適合下午跟朋友聚會聊天，喝點小酒配點心，很完美！

Kimchi cheese toastie

2 slices of bread of your choice, add a lots of cheese of your choice again. (I use Sainsbury's Grated Four Cheese Mix )

Then put a spoonful of the kimchi evenly on top. You can either use a pan or a sandwich toaster, pressing down gently until the bread is golden brown and crisp, and the cheese has melted. Cut in half, and serve it straightaway!

The richness of the cheddar cheese balances nicely with the tangy and spicy flavors of kimchi.

Be Rooted in Christ

“As therefore you received Christ Jesus, the Lord, walk in him, rooted and built up in him, and established in the faith, even as you were taught, abounding in it in thanksgiving.” (Colossians‬ ‭2:6-7‬ ‭WEB‬‬)

Many people want the fruits right away, but they are not willing to spend the time to grow the roots.

Roots will always come first to support the stem, leaves, and fruits.

If a stem were to bear fruit immediately without having roots, it would collapse straightaway.

Shortcuts are not a good thing if you are not able to handle them, and having something earlier than the right time is actually detrimental to your well-being.

Be rooted in Christ, learning more Gospel truths each day, so that you know who you are in Christ and what you have in Him.

This way, no matter how fierce the winds are in the world, you will remain standing strong.

If you don’t see the fruits, perhaps your roots are not strong enough to support the whole plant yet. Allow the Holy Spirit to teach you and prepare you to bear good fruit to God. If you want to be strong and stable, receive the water of God’s word.
