Scheme to Do Good

““Behold, I send you out as sheep among wolves. Therefore be wise as serpents, and harmless as doves.” (Matthew‬ ‭10:16‬ ‭WEB‬‬)

There are many cunning people in this world who use shrewdness for evildoing.

However, Jesus wants us to be wise like a serpent in a way that is harmless, but instead producing goodness and peace.

Every day, scheme how you can advance God’s kingdom here on earth, to ambush people with God’s love. Plan how you can surprise people with an unexpected encounter with God, and set ‘traps’ for them to be abundantly blessed through prayer and sharing God’s word.

If you ask God for wisdom, He will invite you into His heavenly throne room and share His secret plans with you.

God is not looking for those who are capable in the flesh because He can supernaturally impart skillfulness, strength, and wisdom. Just read about Bezalel, Samson, and Solomon in the Old Testament and you will know.

God is just looking for someone who is willing. “Yes Lord, use me! I am willing and available to do Your will.” He can use a believer like that and endow him or her with great grace for the tasks.

“But seek first God’s Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well.” (Matthew‬ ‭6:33‬ ‭WEB‬‬)

Who is really going to act on Jesus’ words and seek God’s Kingdom and His righteousness as the number one priority every day? If that is you, God can use you more.

The easiest way for every believer to partner with God’s work is by praying.

“And [I pray] that the eyes of your heart [the very center and core of your being] may be enlightened [flooded with light by the Holy Spirit], so that you will know and cherish the hope [the divine guarantee, the confident expectation] to which He has called you, the riches of His glorious inheritance in the saints (God’s people),” (Ephesians‬ ‭1:18‬ ‭AMP‬‬)

No one has the excuse not to pray. Did you know that your spirit-man has eyes, ears, and a mouth too, just like your body?

Even a believer who is deaf, mute, blind, in a coma or vegetative state can still pray with his or her spirit-man.
