愛知の三河地区で二番目に高い建物の『昭和電線ケーブルシステム株式会社』愛知工場の『CVタワー』です。映画『君の名は』の新幹線から見える景色と言う事で聖地にもなっている場所です。この建物の目的は、架橋ポリエチレン絶縁・ビニルシースケーブル(CVケーブル)の被覆を作るためです。ケーブルの被覆を真円に近づけるには垂直方向に作業する必要があるため、高い建物にする必要があります。今回、市の行事のツアーで工場内見学（当然撮影不可）とCVタワー上部にある展望台に上がることが出来ました。
