Bethesda ได้ประกาศเปิดตัว Quake ภาคแรก ฉบับรีมาสเตอร์อย่างเป็นทางการ โดยวางจำหน่ายแล้วตอนนี้ บน PS4, PS5, XB1, XBSX|S, Switch และ PC ผ่านทาง Microsoft Store ในราคา $10 หรือราว 330 บาท

โดย Quake ฉบับรีมาสเตอร์ จะได้รับการปรับปรุงกราฟิกให้ดีขึ้น พร้อมรองรับความละเอียด 4K 60 FPS (สามารถสลับไปใช้กราฟิกดั้งเดิมได้ด้วย) ที่มาพร้อมแคมเปญเนื้อเรื่อง และ Expansion Pack ครบทุกตัว สามารถเล่น Multiplayer และ Co-op ได้ทั้งออนไลน์ และแบบแบ่งหน้าจอ พร้อมสนับสนุนการเล่นข้ามแพลตฟอร์ม และสามารถโหลดม็อดเสริมและภารกิจต่างๆ อาทิ Quake 64 ได้ฟรี

นอกจากนี้ยังมีการเพิ่ม Dimension of the Machine เนื้อหาใหม่ ซึ่งพัฒนาโดย MachineGames ผู้สร้างเกมซีรีส์ Wolfenstein เข้ามาในแพ็คเกจ

และที่น่าสนใจที่สุดก็คือ ผู้ที่เคยมี Quake ภาคแรกเวอร์ชันต้นฉบับบน Steam จะได้รับการอัปเกรดเป็นเวอร์ชันใหม่ฟรีๆ โดยอัตโนมัติ แม้ว่าจะไม่ได้ซื้อ Scourge of Armagon และ Dissolution of Eternity ไว้ก็จะได้ Expansion Pack 2 ตัวนี้เข้ามาฟรีๆ ด้วย
