Time to spill the tea.

We are 21 weeks pregnant! The 2nd and 3rd month felt like the longest period of my life because all I saw was the toilet bowl and the bed. Thank goodness the first trimester is done and dusted. I also got my first vaccine around 14 weeks and now I’m fully vaccinated. 🧡

Excited to share our happiness with you. I feel like I’ve kept this secret for way too long for some reason 😆.

Alhamdulillah baby is doing good and I can’t wait to see @fedrighifrancesco handle dirty diapers and milk spew in a few months. But for now, I’m gonna enjoy cooking this bun in the oven. And eat some too. I’ve slowed down on my usual workouts and resorting to long walks instead so if you’re not seeing some new workout videos from me, well now ya know! Much love from us.

【有子初長成🌱】As the Little One grows

我在八月尾為這位在新加坡的中國客人批她的八字，之後在九月尾為她的三歲兒子批八字。

事後，這位分析能力極強的女客人寫了一封感謝函給我。

我很喜歡為小孩批八字。有些父母認為孩子太小不宜批八字。對我而言，孩子一滿歲就該批了。

如此，父母能提早規劃他們的未來，引導他們往對的方向發展。小孩的潛能、喜好和習性也能從八字裡窺探個究竟，而無需靠誤打誤撞或東敲西打，省心又省力。

某次，在批一位少年的八字時，我說少年的頭髮對他很重要，切勿剪得太短。那位爸爸才驚呼，難怪之前硬硬把孩子的頭髮剪得很短時，孩子至今依然氣爸爸，不再讓爸爸碰他的頭髮。

如果早點知道這些點滴的竅門，父母便能深入了解孩子的心態，給他一個更快樂的童年，而不會執意用強硬的手段，讓孩子蒙上陰影，間接破壞了親子關係。

據寫這感謝函的客人表示，孩子一個月前剛轉校。媽媽以為需要幾個月的時間，孩子才能適應。但在這兩個星期裡，他們夫妻倆照著我的指示，換了孩子的小床、部份的日用品和穿著後，本來慢熱的孩子在學校的話越來越多，和其他小朋友交流時，也更顯熱情了。

這只是個開端而已。當這對父母能持續做下去時，他們必會看到一個更陽光，更健康成長的愛心大男孩！

I met this client from China towards the end of August for a Bazi Analysis, followed by another one with the same client. This time it was for her child. After that session, this client of mine, who has a strong analytical mind, wrote me a thank you email.

I take special liking in doing Bazi Analysis for children. Some parents feel it is inappropriate to analyse the Bazi if the child is too young. In my opinion, you ought to get it done as soon as the child turns one.

Doing so allows you to do early planning for the child’s future and guiding them on the right developmental path. A child’s potential, likings and tendencies can be decoded from his Bazi, saving you time and effort going in circles in the blind.

There was one occasion when I was analysing a teenager’s Bazi. I told the father not to cut his son’s hair too short as his hair was important to him. The father was shocked and recounted the time he forcefully cut his child’s hair to a very short length. His child is still angry with him till today and refuses to let him touch his hair.

If you had known earlier these little intricacies, you as a parent would be able to better understand the mentality of your child, giving him or her happier growing up years rather than resorting to high-handed ways and indirectly straining the parent-child relationship.

The client who wrote this thank you email told me that her child got transferred to a new school in end August. She thought the child would need a few months to acclimatise. In the past 2 weeks, both parents took my advice and changed the child’s little bed, clothing and other daily necessities. The shy boy began to open up and became more chatty and friendly in his interactions with other children.

This is only the beginning. If the parents persevere, they will see their son transform into a bright, healthy and loving boy!

I also understood the reason for my dwindling motivation towards my R&D work which I am proficient in and my tendency to give up on things I initially started with keen interest. You have such ability to decipher such great amount of information from seemingly simple Bazi characters. My greatest struggle comes when my desire to go for Lasik surgery was met with my husband’s objection. He was worried about the after-effects of such surgery. It is with grave concerns that I draw your attention to the following:
•​On January 9, 2020 a violent clash over a land dispute in Dong Tam commune, Vietnam where excessive military and police force was deployed that killed an 84-year-old civilian and injured several others. The elderly who had been a vocal leader in the struggle against land confiscation was shot twice in the head and once in the chest while sleeping in his bed. Several other elderly and farmers of the same commune were arrested or assaulted and badly injured. Reportedly there were some 3000 police heavily armed with tear gas, explosives and live ammunition that launched the attack at approximately 3 a.m. on that day targeting the house of the local elderly leader. His sons were also arrested and his daughter in law and grandchildren were also hunted down while running away by police sniffer dogs.
•​This is the latest bloody conflict of land seizures in Dong Tam commune where tension has been simmering for some three years. Farmers claim that the government seizes 59 hectares (116 acres) of their farmland for the military-run Viettel Group, which is Vietnam’s largest mobile phone company, without consultation, consent and adequate compensation for the rightful owners.
•​While violent land confiscations are not uncommon in Vietnam, this is the first time the authorities claimed there had been 3 policemen killed during the attack against the rightful owners of the lands. Human Rights Watch and other international human rights organizations have urged the authorities to investigate the killings fairly and to hold accountable those who used violence and whether excessive police force was justified so as not to wrongly accuse and further victimize the victims.
•​Similarly, last year, just days before the Vietnamese traditional new year, “Tet”, on January 4 and January 8, the authorities in Ho Chi Minh city also launched an attack against the Loc Hung Vegetable Garden, a settlement area claimed by the Catholic Church and registered for agricultural use in 1991, 1995, and 2005, and ever since the land had been used by residents for growing vegetables.
•​During the two-day operation, some thousand uniformed police and plain clothes forces wearing masks equipped with about 8 bulldozers and earth movers to demolish all the houses in Loc Hung Vegetable Garden, Tan Binh district, without prior warning, proper notice, or adequate compensation for the residents.
•​This forced hundreds of displaced victims who are mostly defectors and people who had escaped the Communist regime in the North in 1954, and former prisoners of conscience, political dissidents and veterans of the former army of South Vietnam out of their homes.
•​Lawyers in the country protested against the local authorities’ abuse of power claiming the state should have issued an order for land appropriation first before any issuance of an eviction order to residents of Loc Hung Vegetable Garden.
Therefore, we earnestly ask [your embassy] [U.N. organization]…. to exert diplomatic pressure and
1. Urge the Vietnamese government to end military and police repression and abuse of powers against civilians;
2. Urge the Vietnamese government to recognize the importance of engaging in respectful dialogues and fair negotiations to solve land disputes peacefully rather than resorting to violence.
3. Urge the Vietnamese authorities to investigate with impartiality and transparency and punish all those who are responsible for the human rights violations and the violence in Loc Hung Vegetable Garden and Dong Tam commune so that there is no impunity for crimes committed by state officials.
4. Urge the Vietnamese authorities to permit access to Dong Tam and Loc Hung survivors by local and foreign journalists, diplomats, UN agency officials and other impartial observers to assess what evolved there and monitor the government’s investigation of these incidents.
5. Urge the Vietnamese government to recognize unfair and arbitrary land confiscation for economic projects displacing local people is the source of social unrest, publi

Granny Bubz has always been notorious for being like me (not too good at cleaning dishes). I had no idea that she bleached the mugs that morning and unsurprisingly, she must not have rinsed the bleach out of my mug properly. it was an honest mistake. I just had congee so I was thirsty so I chugged half way down my mug before noticing the water tasted like bleach. I drunk clean water right away but then felt sick and I threw up constantly until black stuff came out. I actually felt ok right afterwards. My stomach did feel weird for the entire day but luckily it wasn’t anything serious. I did feel bad because her congee was SO yummy and I felt like I wasted it. I’m then told I’m actually not the first one in the house to experience this ordeal =‘D We’ve always told granny bubz she doesn’t need to do the washing up but she’s so silly that she never listens. Either way, we will help out as often as we can and we will check the cups before using them =‘D

Managed to upload 80% at my sister's house. Then resorting to uploading the remaining 20% back in my parent's home. It's been 13 hours so far.
