Sekitar tahun 2015, saya terbang ke Singapura di awal pagi. Destinasi rumah Mohamad Nazri.

Masa berlepas jam 7 pagi. Memang data amat jelas kenapa penerbangan ke Singapura dari Kuala Lumpur di awal pagi amat popular. Ramai ahli bisnes suka lakukan one day trip. Mereka akan buat mesyuarat & engagement di awal pagi & pulang semula ke KL sekitar jam 4 - 6 petang. Ini masa paling popular terbang di awal pagi & di petang. Data adalah real.

Selepas mendarat, saya & rakan saya Razi Pahlavi dijemput Nazri ke rumahnya. Dalam masa 15 minit, kami sampai. Bila masuk sahaja ke dalam rumah beliau, kami terus dihidang nasi lemak. Memamg perut dah lapar.

Detik ini adalah detik paling penting dalam cara fikir saya.

"Ramai orang termasuk bisnes belum mengetahui kepentingan big data & A.I.", Nazri mula skrip pitchingnya.

"Kita perlu mendahului pasaran," tambahnya lagi.

"Kenapa penting sangat big data & A.I.?" tanya saya.

"Kita akan jadikan semua urusan kehidupan manusia smarter, quicker & cheaper," jawab Nazri.

"How?" tanya saya. Saya mula minat.

"Data pada hari ini padat & sarat. Data di sekolah, kilang, airport, padang sukan, pasaran saham & banyak lagi amat banyak & bercambah. Cuma kita tidak mampu menganalisa semuanya. Kita perlukan smart technology bagi menganalisa & kemudian membuat ramalan & cadangan. Ini adalah predictive & prescritive A.I. Ini fokus kita," Nazri cuba menyakinkan saya.

"Ada bukti yang tangible tak?" minta saya.

"Kami dah kaji data pengagihan zakat di 700 sekolah agama di Indonesia. Dengan A.I., kami dah jumpa cara pengagihan zakat efektif kepada guru, murid, prasarana sekolah & ekosistem masyarakat sekeliling. Ada juga yang tidak efektif. Kami berjaya cadangkan cara pengagihan zakat yang lebih tepat & berkesan," yakin Nazri menjawab.

Kemudian Nazri tunjukkan beberapa kes sebenar penggunaan A.I. dalam pengurusan cuaca, logistik, power, trafik & supply chain.

Saya mula melihat kepentingan data & teknologi mengalisa data secara tepat, objektif & koheran tanpa berat sebelah & bias.

Jam 11 pagi, kami mula bertolak ke Changi Airport. Sesi 2 jam mengubah saya selama2nya.

這首歌從僅有七歲的童年時期開始，帶著聽眾一起體驗了主唱 Lukas 的人生。歌詞淺白易懂，甚至有些琅琅上口，讓聽覺與靈魂得以貼合著音樂，感受這首歌當中譜出的故事。

並非富裕的童年，讓 Lukas 從小就被迫長大，毒品與烈酒就是他的兒時玩伴。但他沒有因此走上歪路，父親一直是他心中的領袖，為了成為跟父親一樣的人，他開始接觸音樂、寫歌。到了二十歲， Lukas 的心境也有了成長。

二十歲的自己充滿了力量與衝勁，擁有犯錯的餘地也不畏嘗試；三十歲便開始小有名氣。而〈7 years〉的發行年份（2015）正是Lukas快要邁入三十的時期，這段歌詞可以說是對自己野心的描寫，數年後回頭來看，更是成了自傳的一部分。隨著歌曲的推進，在三十歲之後，家庭成了新的和弦，也必然要面對關係的離別，這些都是生命要持續學習的重要課題。

Just like that, another week of school holidays flew by again. Glad to have sneaked in a 20km-long cycle outing amid all the busyness, tiredness and craziness.

More like a thick soup than a typical Western stew, this Chinese beef stew takes reference from Cantonese cooking and pairs vibrant flavours of daikon and carrots with rich earthy beefy goodness.

We cooked over a stove but go ahead and use a pressure cooker / instant pot to braise the beef chucks quicker.

1.4kg Beef chuck (cut into chunks)
2 tbsp Cooking oil
2 Onions (cut into wedges)
1 Knob ginger (smashed)
2 Star anises
2 Cinnamon sticks
2 Bay leaves
4 Cloves
5 Dried chillies (pre-soaked)
2 tbsp Light soy sauce
1 tbsp Dark soy sauce
2 tbsp Chu hou sauce
1 tbsp Fish sauce
3 tbsp Shaoxing wine
Salt & sugar to taste
500ml Chicken stock
500g Daikon (peeled and cut into chunks)
2 Carrot (peeled and cut into chunks)
Coriander for garnishing

Wanna know the trade secret to crunchy winged beans? It's in the shallow fry. You may skip the shallow fry for a quicker cooking time but we highly recommend it.
