    ▍穩定情緒的S.T.O.P. 技巧
    有時候情緒不但會把人壓得喘不過氣，還會蒙蔽判斷能力，使我們很難正確地評斷眼前的狀況。我們會失去看淸現況的能力，無法為後續的行動做出最佳選擇。

    想要重獲看淸現況的能力，為自己做出最合適的決定，「平息情緒風暴」是首要之務。讓自己從旁觀者的角度，冷靜看待眼前的狀況。不妨勤練這套S.T.O.P. 技巧，當你覺得情緒不受控制時，它們就能派上用場。

    練習時，請在心中想像一個令你感到壓迫的情境。千萬不要選一個會讓你壓力破表的情境，以十分為滿分來說，請選一個壓力指數大概落在三到五分的情境。請想像此刻你就置身於該情境中，然後依序執行S.T.O.P. 四步驟：

    #S停止你手上正在進行的所有事情（Stop everything your’re doing）
    按下行動的暫停鍵，讓自己停在原地，不要輕舉妄動。

    #T緩緩地做三個深呼吸（Take three slow deep breaths）
    把注意力集中在感受呼吸上，你會感覺身體漸漸放鬆。

    #O觀察自己和自身處境（Observe yourself and your circumstances）
    想像你宛如靈魂出竅般，從一個旁觀者的中立角度看待整個情況。以富有同理心的角度，去觀察自己所經歷的事情。從這個截然不同的角度觀看這一切，你看到了什麼景象呢？

    #P評估你所能採取的大、小行動（Praise yourself in any way you can, small or large）
    想想自身的優勢，並感謝自己選擇減少壓迫。然後想想下一步該怎麼做，現在你的思緒會比一開始淸楚許多。

    完成這個練習後，請反思整個過程。問問自己，是否有從另一個角度看待自身的處境？如果有，有發生什麼變化嗎？是否發現處理這個情況的新方法？
