医療にサイエンスCGを活用し、治療成績向上や、医療従事者のトレーニング、患者さんの不安軽減を目指します。医療技術の高度化によって医師と患者間の知識格差は増大し、医師自身も高度な技術の習得にさらに多くの時間を要するようになっています。普段あまり出会うことのない「医学」と「CG」とを結びつけ、心臓生理の理解や手術シミュレーション、医療機器のトレーニングなどを「正しく」且つ「楽しく」実現します。

■脈拍・咀嚼などの生体情報を計測しアプリで管理できる耳飾り型コンピュータ「イアラブル」
【2014年度 挑戦者】　谷口和弘 氏

歳をとっても、身体に障害があっても最後まで機能が残ると言われているのが耳の機能です。この機能を活かし「使っていて楽しい、使っていて驚きがある、身に着けることでモテる、身に着けることでリラックスできる、自分のヘルスケアに役立つ、心がジーンと感動する」等を満たした耳飾り型コンピュータの研究開発を行なっています。異能vationでは、その耳飾り型コンピュータに搭載する、「耳で人間の五感を感じコントロールできる機能」の研究に挑戦しました。
