As JDT owner, what is my responsibility and duty? It's JDT's success. Kelantan owner Zamsaham, what is his responsibility and duty? His priority is Kelantan's success. Same goes to HH Raja Muda of Selangor, which is Selangor's success.
So, whatever the priority is in strategic matters, whether in terms of commercial, player transfers or academy, it is our responsibility. When there is an opportunity, such as in the case of Bayern Munich who buy players from rival teams, they do so because their priority is the club's success. I'm not here to take care of all clubs or teams in Malaysia, as my responsibility is towards JDT.
If a strategy requires me to buy players to strengthen my team, I will buy the players. If we need to develop players, then I will develop the players. In the end, as the club owner, my responsibility is towards JDT.
Some say I'm spoiling the M-League, but when there are four or five teams not paying salaries to players, who's the one actually spoiling the M-League? If other teams don't pay salaries or take care of the players' welfare, why am I being accused of destroying the M-League?
I spend within my means, so my rival teams should also spend within theirs. If the management does not pay salaries or does not manage well, it is their failure, not mine. In fact, I have helped some players (who didn't get paid). You can ask the PFAM President, how many cases of players not getting paid do we have every Raya and who has helped them?
