【9月8日起校總區夜間入校不查驗證件 日間校門口管制仍維持現況】
Starting Sep 8, 2021, NTU campus can be accessed without IDs in the evenings. Please show your valid IDs during daytime (07:00-19:00).

本校自9月8日起，校總區夜間入校 (19:00-07:00) 不查驗證件，日間校門口管制措施仍維持現況。日間時段 (07:00-19:00) 進入校園仍需要出示有效證件。

管制方式說明如下：

一、 管制校區：校總區 (即新生南路、辛亥路、基隆路及羅斯福路的校園範圍)

二、開放七處入口：
1. 大門、辛亥門、長興門：車輛及人員可通行。
2. 基隆路4段144巷側門、舟山路口 (近捷運2號出口)、新月台側門、近語言訓練測驗中心 (LTTC)側門：行人及自行車通行。

三、日間入校 (07:00-19:00)請出示證件。自9月8日起，夜間入校（ 19:00-07:00）不需查驗證件。

四、管制期間，本校、臺科大、臺師大教職員工生及中研院等駐本校區人員、

校友及退休人員憑證入校，洽公者需出示身分及相關證明文件 (如開會通知、邀請函、電郵、訪客證、工作證或其他證明等文件，得採紙本或影像檔方式。) 無證明文件者由受訪單位派員至進出口確認身分後始得進入。

The access control measures are described as follows.

I. Access control area: Main campus (i.e., the campus area of Xinsheng South Road, Xinhai Road, Keelung Road and Roosevelt Road）


II. Seven entrances are open:
1. Main Entrance, Xinhai Entrance, Zhangxing Entrance: Accessible to vehicles, pedestrians and bicycles .

2. Lane 144, Section 4, Keelung Road Side Entrance, Zhoushan Road Intersection (Near MRT Exit 2), New Moon Pavilion Side Entrance, The Language Training & Testing Center (LTTC) Side Entrance: Accessible to pedestrians and bicycles.

III. Please show your valid IDs when you enter the Main NTU campus during daytime (07:00-19:00 ). Starting Sep 8, the NTU main campus can be accessed without IDs in the evenings (19:00-07:00).

IV. During the access control period, staff and students of NTU, NTUST, and NTNU, campus resident of Academia Sinica, and NTU alumni and retiree are allowed to enter NTU campus with their valid IDs. Visitors for business must present their IDs and relevant documents (e.g., meeting notice, invitation letter, email, visitor pass, work pass or other documents, which can be presented in paper or photo in electronic devices) to enter the campus. As for those who do not have any documentary proof, the visited unit needs to send personnel to the entrance/exit for identity validation before they are allowed to enter.

The curving façades of tenement blocks built in the colonial era have not only made one of the most unique features of Hong Kong’s urban landscape, these corner buildings were meant to serve the interests of the people as well as that of the developers.

The British colonial government encouraged the construction of balconies and verandas in 1935 by exempting their floor area from the land premium that developers were obliged to pay. These structures were hoped to provide shades to the pedestrian footpaths underneath, hence considered public facilities.

Watch Dogs is an action-adventure game, played from a third-person view. The player controls hacker Aiden Pearce, who uses his smartphone to control trains and traffic lights, infiltrate security systems, jam cellphones, access pedestrians' private information, and empty their bank accounts. System hacking involves the solving of puzzles. The game is set in a fictionalized version of Chicago ("Windy City"), an open world environment which permits free-roaming. It has a day-night cycle and dynamic weather system, which changes the behavior of non-player characters (NPCs). For melee combat, Pearce has an extensible truncheon; other combat uses handguns, shotguns, sniper rifles, machine guns, and grenade launchers. There is a slow motion option for gunplay, and the player can use proximity IEDs, grenades, and electronic lures. Lethal and non-lethal mission approaches can be enacted.

Pearce can scale vertical surfaces, hack forklifts and aerial work platforms to reach places otherwise unreachable, and can crouch behind walls to hide from enemies. The player has an array of vehicles with which to navigate the setting, including motorcycles, muscle cars, off-road vehicles, SUVs, luxury vehicles, sports cars, and speedboats.
The car radio is customizable, with about fifty songs.
If the player steals a car, its driver can summon the police;
if the player has a good reputation, the driver may acquiesce. A good reputation may be gained by detecting (and stopping) crimes, and a bad reputation results from committing crimes.
The skill tree is upgraded with points earned from hacking, combat, driving, and crafted items.
Money can be used to purchase guns, outfits, and vehicles.
There are several minigames, ranging from killing aliens to controlling a large, robotic spider.
