    ตัวแทนจำหน่ายเกม Bohemia Interactive ได้ประกาศปล่อยอัปเดตใหญ่สำหรับเกม Sandbox เอาตัวรอดจากซอมบี้อย่าง DayZ เป็นเวอร์ชัน 1.14 ที่มาพร้อมกับคอนเทนต์ใหม่ ๆ มากมาย

    ฟีเจอร์เด่นของเวอร์ชัน 1.14 คือตัวเกมมีการเพิ่มพื้นที่ใหม่ที่เรียกว่า "The Contaminated Areas" หรือพื้นที่อันตรายที่ได้แบ่งออกเป็น 2 ประเภทระหว่าง Static และ Dynamic โดยทั้งสองพื้นที่จะมีความยากท้าทายกว่าพื้นที่ปกติ และมีโอกาสพบไอเทมแรร์จากการ Loot มากขึ้น

    นอกจากนี้ ตัวเกมได้เพิ่มไอเทมประเภทกับดักสำหรับใช้ล่าสัตว์ เช่น big fishnet trap, small fish bottle trap และ snare trap โดยกับดักทุกประเภทจะมีความสามารถในการจับสัตว์พิเศษที่แตกต่างกัน รวมถึงตัวเกมเพิ่มกับดัก Booby Trap และ Tripwire สำหรับลอบโจมตีศัตรูอีกด้วย

    สุดท้าย ตัวเกมมีการเพิ่มอาวุธใหม่ชื่อว่า "LE-MAS" เป็นปืนไรเฟิลจู่โจมแบบ Bullpup ใช้กระสุน 5.56x45m โดยจุดเด่นของปืนนี้คือมีอัตราความเร็วในการยิงสูง และมีกระสุนบรรจุสูงสุด 25 นัด รวมถึงบางสถานที่มีการปรับปรุง เช่น Helicopter crash sites เพื่อให้เกมเพลย์บาลานซ์มากขึ้น

    DayZ เวอร์ชัน 1.14 ปล่อยให้เล่นแล้ววันนี้ ถ้าหากเกมเมอร์สนใจก็สามารถดาวน์โหลดอัปเดต แล้วเข้าไปเล่นในเกมได้ทันที
