I had a chat with a friend about part time jobs and it brought me back to school days. I've never really done anything crazy but all of them were still fun experiences despite some of them being tiring as well. I grew up helping my dad when he delivered goods to customers. He had kidney issues and basically couldn't carry heavy stuff. He also didn't have much education so he can't really write. Me and my brother took turns after school to help carry stuff and issue physical receipts. We'd carry items that were 20-30kgs sometimes. Male customers often made fun of me, 'Wah this cha bo (girl) so strong, next time if the husband go drinking she'll go carry him back' It was really annoying and I hated it. My dad was also really strict with the receipts. We would get an earful everytime we made a mistake. He was always extra angry when we accidentally overcharge anyone. 'I'm not as angry if you undercharge, but if you overcharge, people will lose trust and they won't come back' Honestly I don't know how he's good in maths given he didn't even finish primary school. Apart from that I also remember doing a data entry job with friends during school holidays. I think it was RM100/day. That was a lot back then. They told us that by hook or crook we'll have to finish it in 3 days. I've never typed as fast in my life. We finished it in 2 days and got paid for 2 days. Dumb school kids 😂 After secondary school I had a short break and worked as a part time waitress for RM2.50/hour. I took the night shift which ended at 11pm coz I still had to help my dad in the day time. I've learnt to deal with fussy customers and hot tempered chefs. Customer: Why does it taste different? Last time not like that. Take it back to the chef. *walks to chef to return food with trembling hands* Chef: Same what! I've always cooked the same way. Bring it back to her! Hmm I also did some other jobs during college but that's for another day. Have you done any odd jobs before? What were they? There's really nothing wrong with doing odd jobs especially if you have to during these times. I believe that there's always something to learn from every experience.

I could say pastry lovers will definitely love this place, as they served a really WIDE selections and the portions are super generous (cuz 2 of us couldn’t finish all🤰🏻) Loved their hokkaido uni & royal cristal carviar tart🥰pouring bavarois on top which bursted with creamy favours, and the uni inside was surprisingly sweet and fresh. The buckwheat tart shell also did a good job to enhance the texture.
