Each year, the House of Guerlain revisits the treasures of its past, faithfully recreating each fragrance with the techniques of the present day. Composed by Jacques Guerlain in 1911, Kadine is reimagined for 2021 in a stunning tribute to the East.

In honor of the 110th anniversary of this iconic Extrait de Parfum, Guerlain Master Perfumer Thierry Wasser has recomposed Kadine as faithfully as possible, from the olfactory composition to the timeless Quadrilobe bottle and sophisticated blue-and-silver case.

| 狗的嗅覺—比人類靈敏十萬倍 靠聞同類屁股判斷是否適合繁殖 狗糞狗口水都可以有性暗示
有養狗的你們，有沒有發現當狗見到同類的時候會聞對方的屁股呢？要知道人的鼻子有500萬個嗅覺受體（olfactory receptor），但狗的鼻子就足足有1.5億個。如果換算成靈敏度，那狗的嗅覺比人類的嗅覺會高出約十萬倍。另外，狗大約三分之一的大腦都用於檢測和識別氣味，而人類僅將大腦的5％來處理嗅覺。

狗的鼻腔內部有一個特殊的結構通向上門牙後面的口腔頂部，稱為犁鼻器官（vomeronasal organ），也稱為傑克森氏器官（Jacobson’s organ）。犁鼻器官的神經直接通向大腦，與鼻子嗅覺組織中的神經不同，犁鼻器官對普通氣味沒有反應，而是專門負責化學訊息通訊。

狗的直腸內部有兩個小囊，稱為肛門腺（anal glands）。它們通過一對微小的開口將化學物質分泌到直腸中。當狗隻排便時，直腸括約肌收縮，腺體會排空並釋放氣味到空氣。每隻狗都有獨特的氣味，狗可以快速確定它們是否曾經見過，從肛門區域發出的香氣正是狗隻識別對方的獨特形式。
