屋台から始まった富山の人気ラーメン！富山県富山市『まるたかや富山駅前店』にお邪魔しました。ベーシックなラーメンの他、シナチクやモツ、チャーシューがふんだんに入ったラーメンや、有名なサイドメニューとしておでんを提供。昭和27年に小さな屋台から始まったそうで、その時からの味をそのまま提供するために麺やスープ、トッピングの具材にまで様々なこだわりがあります。また《まるたかや名物 背脂揚玉》通称“脂粕”と《無臭にんにく》が卓上にセット。これも屋台時代に考案されたコク増しの裏ワザだそう。お店は今回伺った富山駅前店、以前伺った新庄店のほか、魚津や砺波など富山県内に計9店舗あるそうです。さあそれでは、動画スタートです！

I decided to do some reading on one of the most misunderstood Japanese foods out there, NATTO!

Firstly, what is natto? Natto is a cheap, traditional Japanese food made from fermented soybeans.
