2021年的1月就這樣過了～
忽然就來到2月
我和Ray都在想應該要實行一下我們之前的計劃
先不說那計劃是什麼

生活回到數年前
自從生了兩個小孩後
家裡的物品以幾何級數的方式擴展
有一點納悶但又不知道該怎樣做
直至我接觸到近藤麻理惠(Marie Kondo)的書《怦然心動的人生整理魔法》
內裡主要講述怎樣整理家中的各種居家物品
其中一個理念就是「只留下令你心動的東西，其他都可以丟掉」
用她的文字就是那樣物品能否令你spark joy
另外還有整理收藏各種物品的方法
實在令我眼界大開

差不多同時期
Ray和我分享了一個concept（概念）
就是 Minimalist 極簡主義
他是剛好看到Joshua Fields Millburn & Ryan Nicodemus的書
他們是美國人，基於家庭背景，某一天反思到人們在這物質氾濫的時代
究意真正需要的是什麼～
他看完後把書推介給我
我們看完後再討論
然後都覺得我們其實都很喜歡這種生活方式
而要整理家中物品最有效的方式就是先把不需要的處理掉
有一理念和近藤麻理惠有點相像
就是問自己一個問題：Does it add value to my life?
(這個東西會令我的生活更有價值嗎﹖)
只把有價值的物件留下來
就會較容易清理家中的物件

我們那時都有一點狂熱
就開始了整理衣物～哈哈
我們還真的把衣物都整理了一遍
把清了好幾袋的衣物拿去捐
不過然後就沒有再仔細執行了
但我們都把這極簡主義放了入腦內
想買新的東西時都會考盧是不有實際需要
而且面對少了雜亂的家
人是頓時感覺舒服了
好像連家裡的氣牆也轉變了
真是十份神奇

然後陸陸續續我們都看了更多關於斷捨離的書
這個理念就像變成我們的一部份
我那時還特意趁暑期把我的工作地方整理了一次
看著原本堆滿多年考試卷的櫃子慢慢清空
看著原本填滿不同課程的教案或學生的功課的書架櫃子也慢慢清空
心裡實在清爽了不少
剛好有另一同事也正在做同樣的事情
事後我們都互相到對方的位子欣賞一番～哈～

不過對於家中的斷捨離
還是直至我們決定要到英國生活而要把家中的物品整理
那次才是我們的第一次真正的大整理
所有衣物、書籍、小朋友的物品、廚房用品、玩具等等都來了一次大整理
那麼多種東西最難割捨的就是帶有感情的東西
可能是一件衣服、一枝筆，只要是別人送的就帶了一份情感
不是說笑，我還保留了小時候和朋友們的書信
雖然拿出來看的次數實在不多
但就是不捨
反倒是把畢業時的紀念冊都丟掉了
不過我有把它們拍照留念
(我都開始考慮要清理一下以往拍的照片影片）

而另一樣較難放手的就是書籍
雖然近年我們大人都開始轉用電子書
但是本來就喜歡買書
不過經過那次的整理基本上都只保留了精華
反而小朋友的書籍還有不少
始終覺得實體書還是較適合他們的年紀
而且來了英國又添購了不少英文書
結論還是書籍最令人頭痛～哈

“The woman said to him, “I know that Messiah comes, he who is called Christ. When he has come, he will declare to us all things.” Jesus said to her, “I am he, the one who speaks to you.”” (John‬ ‭4:25-26‬ ‭WEB‬‬)

It is very clear that Yahweh (YHVH) is Jesus.

When the Samaritan woman mentioned the Messiah (same as Christ), Jesus plainly admitted “I am He” which is the same as what He told Moses from the midst of the burning bush.

“God said to Moses, “I AM WHO I AM,” and he said, “You shall tell the children of Israel this: ‘I AM has sent me to you.’” God said moreover to Moses, “You shall tell the children of Israel this, ‘Yahweh, the God of your fathers, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob, has sent me to you.’ This is my name forever, and this is my memorial to all generations.” (Exodus‬ ‭3:14-15‬ ‭WEB‬‬)

By saying “I AM” to the Samaritan woman, Jesus was saying that He is Yahweh—the same God who spoke to Moses from the burning bush.
As He promised Moses, Jesus used the same name (I AM) to refer to Himself again.

Yahweh is an approximate sound of the Tetragrammaton Yud Hei Vav Hei.
It is definitely much closer than “Jehovah” since there is no J sound in the Hebrew language.
Just like how the original Hebrew name for Jesus is actually Yeshua—no J sound.

At the cross, the sign above Jesus’ head had Hebrew words on it, “Yeshua HaNazarei V’Melech HaYehudim” which translated means Jesus of Nazareth, King of the Jews.
Pontius Pilate had instructed for this sign to be put there.

These Hebrew words formed the Tetragrammaton YHVH—a divine arrangement testifying to Israel that the one crucified on the cross is the Lord Yahweh.

“No one has seen God at any time. The one and only Son, who is in the bosom of the Father, he has declared him.” (John‬ ‭1:18‬ ‭WEB‬‬)

The apostle John plainly testified that no one has seen God the Father at any time. So all the appearances of God to men in the Bible are of the pre-incarnate Christ—Yahweh.

In John chapter 3, Jesus spoke to Nicodemus (a respected religious leader of Israel) in riddles.
But in John chapter 4, Jesus plainly revealed Himself as the Messiah to the adulterous Samaritan woman.

To those who think they know, Jesus shows that they don’t know anything.
To those who admit that they don’t know, Jesus gives clear wisdom and understanding.

Always remain teachable and humble—that’s the posture to receive more revelation about God and Jesus.
