This pandemic has been a rollercoaster and a HALF. Sometimes it feels like things are changing every day, and when something's just about to get good, things change again. (business owners, I see you) it's TIRING.

But when I was chatting with @abby_nor_mal last night, who as you know lives the most hectic of lives, she said she's living by this mantra her gran always said about her own life: "oh it was so much work but it was so much fun".

... and I LOVE that. I'm going to try and rewrite nervousness into excitement and fear into anticipation.
May not succeed everyday bc between you and I I'm really more of an Eeyore than a Tigger; but at least we can try.
And hopefully sometimes when we get lost, we'll look up and realize we ended up in the right place for different reasons than we've expected! 🤍

昨天比了我好幾年來第一個比賽😱也就是 @kkbox_tw 辦的 @turntable_kknow 比賽(直播的)！好緊張啦😖 雖然自己算是身經百戰(?) 但是也很喜歡總是還是會很緊張（然後假裝一點都不緊張）的自己... 我連平常直播都會緊張沒有騙你們！

這應該就是表演好玩又令人難忘的地方😎～那種既刺激又等不及展現自己又害怕出糗的複雜感受...!

曾經一度跟自己說再也不要比賽了... 因為對於我的心有時候真的是負荷太大🥺 仔細想想後，其實是因為害怕失敗罷了！但我們常常為了不要再讓自己受傷，而忘記害怕失敗同時，就停止學習了... 身為一個堅持不要讓自己變成不想要成為的那種老人，我希望自己可以永遠保持這種為了一個目標努力、為了表現出對得起自己的內容而給自己壓力很大的狀態（是要逼死誰）

Yesterday I participated in something I hadn’t joined in a WHILE, an original song singing competition! The adrenaline rush was such a good reminder of the old times! I try to keep the nervousness in me every time I perform ~ I don’t want that feeling to ever go away, actually! I think that’s not only the fun part about performing, that’s also what makes everything extra worth while:)

Starting over can be extremely nerve wrecking, cause you honestly DON’T KNOW if your heart can take in the results well or not… CHANGE, itself can be nerve wrecking, but it also gives you a chance to start something that COULD BE amazing, and sometimes that’s exactly what we need (well… most of the time).
