This is surreal! Kate Winslet was just a few metres away from me! I was touched by her inspiring and emotional speech. And I am overwhelmed by the tragically beautiful documentary she narrated. #輪迴上集在羅馬尼亞展出囉！ 🇷🇴

The Bucharest International Dance Film Festival(BIDFF) in Romania collects movies narrated mainly with body movements and feelings, encouraging different forms of filming and creations and hoping to see the fusion and conversation between different works. The festival also welcomes traditional, experimental and VR films.

The festival is held every September with movies, exhibitions, speeches in order to promote the film industry in Romania.

The theme of the 7th BIDFF is “Potential Worlds.” The festival invites artists around the world to inspire different interpretations and imaginations towards the future, and then mix up a new ecosystem of art. Nine VR performances that have won international awards are selected, including Huang’s Samsara Ep.1!

BIDFF hopes that audiences can see the impact of criticism and wars on our society via the virtual world presented this time, and then define the values of this global society by adjusting the attitude of living on earth.

羅馬尼亞 布加勒斯特國際舞蹈電影節(BIDFF)聚集了以身體動作、感受做為主要語言的電影，鼓勵不同形式的電影創作參與，期許看見不同作品之間的融合、碰撞和對話，也歡迎傳統的、實驗性質與虛擬現實的電影作品。

每年9月在羅馬尼亞除了有電影放映，還有舉辦展覽、公開演講供大眾參與，藉以推廣當地電影產業！

而第七屆BIDFF以Potential Worlds為主題，邀請國際間的藝術家參與，一同對藝術的未來，有不同的想像與詮釋，融合成新的藝術生態系統。沈浸式作品項目中精選了九部屢獲國際獎項的VR作品，黃心健作品《輪迴》上集（Samsara ep1)也將在BIDFF展出！

《輪迴》以認知理論的「具身認知」（ EmbodiedCognition）出發，利用VR的互動性，讓觀眾可以感受不同生物與角色的存在。從不同人與物種的身體去認知與感受這世界時，才會真正理解他者想法與產生更深刻的同感心，並對自身存在有更圓融與完整的體悟。

BIDFF 希望在這次呈現的虛擬世界中，可以看見批判性、戰爭對人類社會的衝擊，因應變故而生存在地球上的態度，進而定義全球社會的價值觀。

THE YEAR EARTH CHANGED được bấm máy ngay sau khi cả trái đất bị lockdown do ảnh hưởng của Covid - 19. Không có sự tác động của con người, lại là cơ hội để tự nhiên phục hồi và phát triển rực rỡ.

Cảnh mình xúc động nhất và chảy nước mắt là lần đầu tiên trong suốt một đời người, dãy Himalaya hùng vĩ hiện ra sừng sững ngay đường chân trời, chỉ vừa mới sau lockdown không lâu ở Ấn Độ. Trước đó, dãy núi này đã bị bao phủ bởi khói bụi ô nhiễm không khí mấy thập kỉ.

Một bộ phim tuyệt vời, hình ảnh siêu đẹp, âm nhạc cực hay, dựng phim xuất sắc cùng lối dẫn chuyện của David Attenborough hấp dẫn và đầy cảm hứng. Bác này có mấy bộ phim tài liệu khác cũng về thiên nhiên môi trường như LIFE (limited edition, Netflix gỡ rồi buồn ghê); Life on Earth, A Life on Our Planet, Planet Earth,..

Covid - 19 là thách thức nhưng cũng chính là cơ hội. Khi trái đất buộc con người phải chậm lại, phải ở nhà, phải tập làm quen với this NEW NORMAL, thì là lúc thiên nhiên, động vật và môi trường được tái sinh. Cũng là một kỉ nguyên mới dành cho chúng ta. Sau đại dịch, hy vọng loài người sẽ biết đủ, giảm bớt những nhu cầu có hại cho trái đất và cùng nhau, chúng ta sẽ cùng tồn tại (trong phim dùng từ Co-exist) với môi trường, với tự nhiên. Điều đó chẳng phải quá tuyệt vời sao?

Make it a better place, not just for you and for me or the entire human race, but all lives on Earth.
