定宇稍早接受澳洲歷史最悠久的雪梨晨鋒報（ Sydney Morning Herald)專訪，內容重點摘要：
1. 我們相信澳洲在印太地區應該扮演更重要的角色。
2. 澳英美軍事同盟可以向中國傳遞一個重要的訊號，我們民主國家會站在一起，中國不要錯估自己實力。
3. 中國的錯估將不僅傷害他國，更會造成中國自身的悲劇。
近來美、澳強化安全合作，我們看到這三件事：「美助澳造核潛艦，巡弋可及台灣」、「美澳2+2會談指出強化與台灣關係，關心台海和平穩定」、「澳英美新軍事同盟AUKUS直指對抗中國對南海、台灣威脅」，這些都牽動著印太局勢。
“We believe Australia will play an important role in the Indo-Pacific region,” Wang said.
“This kind of alliance can send a signal towards China’s government that ‘We all stand together, don’t miscalculate your capability’.
“Those kinds of miscalculations will cause tragedy to China itself.“

#今日阿富汗明日台灣？？？
#你的胡說八道只是貽笑國際
阿富汗在8月16日再次被塔利班控制，國際間對於阿富汗人權，特別是婦女與女孩人身安全可能遭受的迫害，紛紛表達關切與憂心。
但卻有一群人對於阿富汗人可能遭遇的迫害視而不見，反而掀起一波波不倫不類的對比「#今日阿富汗是明日台灣？？？」
這樣的言論，連美國重要政治人物、學者專家都看不下去，紛紛在自己的社群媒體上發聲。
美國國安顧問蘇利文（Jake Sullivan）更在媒體簡報會上表示，美國相信自己對盟友夥伴的承諾神聖不可侵犯（sacrosanct），且一向是如此：
「我們也相信自己對台灣、以色列的承諾，一如既往堅實。」
他也強調阿富汗和台灣兩者情況不同（請参見中央社報導：https://reurl.cc/83kpEM ）。
國內某些人 #刻意類比台灣為阿富汗，居然要出動美國國安顧問來闢謠，只能說 #中共操弄台灣輿論 已經到令美國擔心的地步。
