It’s time we get to know each other. My real name is Farah. I was born in Kedah 1986. We live an average life as a middle class family in Alor Setar, then we moved to Kulim when I was 13 . Mom drove a Saga and worked as a lecturer and my dad worked for the government as an engineer. We didn’t suffer but we weren’t lavish either . We had more than enough to survive and were happy and excited just with occasional trips to Jusco Kulim for groceries, going to KFC or McD was a special family event and coming to KL when dad had a meeting was the highlight of the year for rural kids like us . I was definitely an outgoing child, an overachiever and very independent. I love business and makeup from a young age. In primary school, I sold chewing gums and candies . Our mom had a salon/spa and was selling Nutri Metics (sorta like Marykay) for extra cash to raise 3 kids and I always help her with cleaning the sponges when she has customers for facial . Even though in school I was the star during talent time for singing, debate, dancing and choral speaking, deep inside I was not naturally confident . As a child, I had low self-esteem and some kids were so mean to me. I remember a kid throwing powder all over my pinafore and my face and she was laughing at me while I sob and felt bullied😰 . I developed my tough skin and turned into who I am today after I got a scholarship from MARA to further my studies in the US. I worked so hard to earn all As in PMR and straight A1 s in SPM just to fulfill my dreams of studying abroad. That was my life goal as a child . I studied Biotechnology in University of California Davis for 4 years. In the US, I learned to be more independent, to speak up for myself and be a fighter.
