約翰霍普斯金醫學院一位備受敬重、出生於瑞士的精神科醫師對於英文的節奏並不在行，因此當他提出「depression」這樣較溫和的名詞來形容這麼可怕猛烈的疾病時，並沒有意識到自己已經造成語意上的損害。
然而這個無害的詞已經進入英語這個語言至少75年，Depression就像隻蛞蝓般，未留下太多惡毒的痕跡，使大家對這種疾病失控時的可怕無從理解。

Baalbek was a center for Mesopotamian, Roman, Christian and Islamic worship as each group introduced their own heritage to this monument. Up until 150 BC, the site was a temple then shifted during the Roman colonization. Subsequently, the temple was brought into the Christian era with Constantine the Great’s influence on the Roman Empire.
