    So Taiwan made a conjugate vaccine for Covid. You need to be 18+ for the experimental mRNA vaccines. People get the Hep B vaccine the day they are born.

    "Conjugate vaccines contain small pieces of the germ combined with proteins that help trigger a strong immune response. Many commonly used vaccines are made this way, including those that protect against hepatitis B, HPV, whooping cough, and meningitis."

    看完這篇大家就會懂了～要能出國能安全安心健康旅行應該還有一段很長的時間喔！
    先來看看由發現疾病到疫苗問世，到底需要花多久時間？這邊舉幾個比較有名的例子（開發時間由短至長排列）:

    狂犬病 (Rabies) ── 4 年 (1881-1885)
    德國麻疹 (Rubella) ── 7 年 (1962-1969)
    百日咳 (Pertussis) ── 8 年 (1906-1914)
    麻疹 (Measles) ── 9 年 (1954-1963)
    以上是十年內便開發成功的疫苗，不過大多數是發生在 60 年前的事了。以下是研發期超過十年以上的，而且很多是疾病出現 20 年以上才有疫苗的例子：

    肺炎鏈球菌 (Pneumococcal disease) — 66 年 (1911-1977)
    腦膜炎 (Meningitis) ── 68 年 (1906-1974)
    大家有沒有發現，其實很少有疫苗能在十年內開發完成喔！

    In 1996 during a meningitis epidemic in Kano, Nigeria, Pfizer gave 200 children the experimental drug, Trovan. 11 died and dozens were left disabled. Pfizer paid an out of court settlement of $75 million. (See the 2005 film The Constant Gardener)

    In 2009 Pfizer paid $2.3 billion after pleading guilty to U.S. criminal charges that it improperly marketed 13 medicines. The largest health care fraud settlement and the largest criminal fine of any kind.

    In 2012 Pfizer paid a $1 billion settlement over Pembros

    In 2013 Pfizer paid a $55 million settlement over Protonix
    More cases have been brought against Pfizer over other drugs including Chantix, Depo-Testosterone, Effexor, Zoloft, Eliquis and Lipitor.

    Pfizer Chairman and C.E.O., Dr. Albert Bourla (he's a vet), says that early data shows their new coronavirus vaccine is more than 90% effective (!)

    The UK government has already purchased 40 million doses, and claims that 10 million will be made available before Christmas.
