Borneo is known for its exotic megafauna, but the little ones are often overlooked. This hermit crab here was found taking refuge in a popular human waste. These critters are unfortunate victims that will succumb to the scorching tropical heat when trapped at the dead end of an invisible labyrinth. The question is. Planet or plastic?

Walking in giant footsteps. This is the foot fossil of Megalania prisca, the largest lizard known to have existed. This megafauna shares several similarities to the Komodo dragons, one which is the toxic gland underneath their lower jaw. Studies suggest they are capable of growing up to 7 meters in length and weigh as much as 1300 pounds. That is more than two times the size of a full grown dragon today. Imagine these monsters roaming the plains of Australia during the Pleistocene era, some 50,000 years ago, just like the dragons, with a bigger appetite, furnished with a rogue personality.
