2020-09-05 02:36:50Here's my cousin Julian Rang and I doing solo male and female dance for our elders in Bario Asal longhouse in 2017. The male dance is the warrior dance, and the female dance imitates the hornbill. Playing sape' are my cousin Hezekiah Asim and uncle Gerawat Ulun.

《建築師變成畜牧農場主人》
2019年的澳洲住宅獎得主Daylesford Longhouse，決定搬到一塊荒地，他蓋了一個「精品農場」，一個「花園廚房」，一個「烹飪學校」，和自己居住房子。
建築師搬到鄉下，近森林，並不稀奇。但除了對鄉村生活十分著迷，他們想同時擁有畜牧、烹飪學校的大構想。
他們選擇了一個維多利亞州中部的小鎮旁的高處荒地，這裡可以俯瞰著平原和叢林。
環境優美但也充滿挑戰，許多石頭錯落。建築師於是提出了一個「巨大溫室」的想法，不僅讓住宅受到足夠的保護，也使景觀在內部發展。
這裡已經連續乾旱多年，可持續性是設計的基礎，玻璃屋頂收集每一滴雨水，用於灌溉。室內花園的頂棚，擁有抗紫外線和紅外線的性能。
寬敞的室內花園後面便是中央廚房和烹飪學校，為休閒用餐和正式的餐飲提供細緻環境。巨大的內部空間由木材，磚石和鑲嵌的綠植所構成。
自己居住的室內裝飾受19世紀和20世紀別墅的啓發，客廳設有華麗的金屬球燈具和玫瑰色調，落日感讓人倍感安逸。
巨大的沙發床，散發著慵懶的味道。
設計師使用完全反差的天空藍，內部空間和天空沒有界限。
室外粗曠的農場與室內的精緻，加上實用而堅固的材料，臥室成為度假區。臥室及書房皆使用了清新的天藍色。
將榖倉、馬槽、工作、種植、烹飪、生活
放在一個單獨的空間，或許世界太混亂了，但我們仍然可以構建一個田園詩般的生活。

Always missing our highland home 🍃I always think it’s a wonder how my cousins & I, eventhough we weren’t born in the village, and some were born & live overseas, we still call the highlands our home. Kelabits are so spread out across world (the aunties call it our global longhouse), yet we’re a really tight-knit community with strong roots to this land, the mountains & the rivers 🤍 everything and everyone is somehow so familiar.
This is Bario, a collection of 16 villages in the Kelabit highlands. My great grandparents came from one of these villages, Batu Patong. Currently no more than 20 people live in Batu Patong village.
