Tenderness/swelling of the abdomen 📌Feeling sick or vomiting 📌Diarrhoea 📌Fever 📌Jaundice (yellowing of the skin and whites of the eyes) 📌If it becomes severe, it can affect other organs and you may develop low blood pressure Most common causes: ✍🏻Gallstones (about 1/2 of cases) ✍🏻Excessive alcohol intake (about 1/4 of cases) ✍🏻Other causes are viral infection (e.g mumps), complications of cystic fibrosis, accidental injury to the pancreas, high blood fat levels, autoimmune disease Please see your GP/local doctor if you have any of the symptoms above.
