🔴MY REVIEW: I’ve been using this cream for a month now. It’s very hydrating and I have actually seen an improvement to the texture of my skin. This’s definitely one of my top picks! It absorbs quickly and it’s not greasy. It leaves my face moisturized and soft! I highly recommend this to everyone that wants a better skin tone.

A few months ago when @theomarmukhtar got a double golden book entry for his excellent performance at school, we asked him what cake he wants to celebrate his outstanding achievements. I can still remember he instantaneously replied “Rainbow Cake”! Obviously I was surprised and asked him again to make sure that my 14 year old son really wanted a rainbow cake to celebrate his achievements. And without hesitation he confirmed “Yes, I want a rainbow cake!!” So Mr Dad went ahead and bought him the rainbow cake that he claimed that he ‘wants’. He only ate a slice of the cake and the rest was joyously enjoyed by his little brother and sister - Fatimah and Ali. I guess I do not need to explain further why he chose the cake. My selfless eldest son @theomarmukhtar has always put other people first before himself. Even to celebrate his achievements he still chose a cake that Fatimah and Ali would be enjoying more than him - bless him!

Last Friday, 2nd July was Ali’s 6th birthday. As you know, Ali’s been claiming that he is Fatimah’s twin and has been sharing Fatimah’s birthday ever since. So for his 6th birthday when Mr Dad asked Ali what cake he wants for his birthday, he secretly requested Mr Dad to surprise him with any cake but make sure the colour is pink cos whenever it’s his birthday it means that it will be Fatimah’s half birthday too and vice versa. So if you asked how close Fatimah and Ali are…well I can assure you that they are just like other normal siblings - they do fight and make up. But I guess there’s no need to prove how much they love one another cos at the end of the day, actions speak louder than words. And for this, I owe my biggest thank you to my #LuckyNumber1 @theomarmukhtar for setting the best example for your little brother and sister to follow.

May The Almighty protect all of our children’s hearts and make them love one another till their last breath and protect them all from the evil eye…

The most enjoyable time for the kids in their homeschool is presentation time! Every day, they both get a chance to present and talk in detail about their finished work. Just look at Ali in this video: he only drew a penguin, but from that one penguin, he could make a presentation up to 4 minutes long! It’s amazing to see how a 4-year-old’s brain works. From just a drawing, he can give a whole personality to his penguin. According to Ali, his penguin is also in lockdown, eats healthy food and speaks French too - what a masterpiece! But above all, the best part of this video is to see his spontaneous yet honest reaction when he got stuck and asked Fatimah for help, and then instantaneously praised her by saying, "My sister is very clever!" That just proves how much he loves and adores Fatimah - bless him!

Surah Ar-Rahman has always been one of our family’s favourites. Even Fatimah fell in love with it instantaneously as soon as she heard the beautiful recitation of this Surah. And not only that, she is obsessed with the meaning behind the Surah too. So when she found out that the mission for today’s World #QuranHour was Surah Ar-Rahman, she couldn’t resist taking part! Hey everyone! Here’s my daily skincare routine and also sharing what I have been using diligently for the past 8 years. I used to have dry/ combination skin type previously and I was guilty of using harsh oil-removing products that cater to oily skin, thinking that removing sebum is the way to go. I kept jumping from one product to another and my skin went from bad to worse with patchy dry and inflamed areas and lots of whiteheads/ blackheads/ oil seeds. Thankfully my friend recommended Laneige and my skin transformed instantaneously. It was only then I realised the cause to all my skin issues was simply lack of moisture. Many people who don’t know my history think this skin of mine is luck when it was a lot of hard work, consistency and dedication behind the scenes and simply investing in your own skin.
