Niagara Falls🌈 . . 6月初旬に行った、GC取得→再渡米してから初めての週末プチ旅行✈️ NYにいる間は、とりあえずアメリカ東海岸を攻めようということで、まずはナイアガラの滝へ〜！ (この後、隔週でワシントンD.C.、そして既に投稿済みのマイアミと続きます🙈♡) . . ナイアガラの滝は、滝の水量が増える6〜8月がベストシーズンだそうで、私が行った6月初旬はお天気も良いし、 マイナスイオンが気持ちよくて最高でした☺️☀️ . . ナイアガラの滝はカナダとの国境沿いにあって、 NY/JFKからナイアガラのアメリカ側にある空港までだと、フライト1.5時間くらい✈︎ 日帰りでも全然行けます！✨ が、せっかくなので1泊しました♡ その理由はまた後ほど。 . . 朝6時発のフライトで行って、まずは8時くらいからアメリカ側を満喫。 行ったら誰もが乗るであろう"Maid of the Mist(霧の乙女号)"で、滝の近くまで接近し、ビシャビシャになりました😂🌧 これがめっちゃ楽しかった🤣笑 . ちなみにアメリカ側から"霧の乙女号"、カナダ側から"ホーンブロワー"が出航していますが、それぞれルートはほぼ同じ。 ただ配布されるポンチョの色が、🇺🇸:青、🇨🇦:赤と異なります✔︎ . 1泊したのは、ライトアップされた夜のクルーズにも乗りたかったから！✨ しかもこれはカナダ側からしか出航していません🙅🏻‍♀️ . 滝のライトアップも綺麗だったし、写真載せきれなかったけど花火も上がって、昼間とはまた違った楽しみ方ができました🥰 . . ちなみにSwipe3,7枚目のそれぞれ手前に見えているのがアメリカ滝、奥のくぼんでいる方がカナダ滝です☝🏻 . 夜のライトアップの色は、ころころ変わるのですが、今回投稿した写真のタイミングでは、ポンチョの色と一緒でした💙❤️ (最後はカナダはピンクになってる💗) . . 旅レポ初回は、お決まりの長文。笑 . . 🏷#marin_usa #niagarafalls #niagaracruises #maidofthemist #hornblower #アメリカ旅行 #アメリカ観光 #ナイアガラの滝 #ナイアガラ #アメリカ生活 #ナイアガラフォールズ #霧の乙女号 #ナイアガラクルーズ #birthdaybash #birthdaybashshop #バースデーバッシュ #旅スタグラム #旅行コーデ #旅コーデ #retrip_america #リゾートワンピ #大人女子コーデ #大人可愛いコーデ #大人女子 #おしゃれ女子 #大人女子旅 #海外生活 #ニューヨーク生活 #ニューヨーク旅行 #駐妻ライフ

Still had these pics of Niagara Falls on my phone, let’s not waste them! It was always a dream of mine to come here. Not many people know that I am a fan of culture and nature and had read and seen about Niagara Falls throughout my life. Actually shorter but wider than I thought, the sheer power of the Falls was the most impressive memory. The thunderous roar was awe inspiring and humbling at the same time. The Falls sits on the border of USA and Canada, is made up of three waterfalls - the American Falls, named because it is situated on the American side, next to it is the smaller Bridal Falls, and then the amazing crescent shaped Horseshoe Falls. They say the amount of water coming down from the Niagara Falls every minute is enough to fill a million bathtubs. A MILLION! That’s nuts. The second biggest waterfall in the world after the Victoria Falls in Africa , it is fed by the Great Lakes which is the largest surface freshwater system in the world (around 18% of the worlds supply) which the Niagara River acts as a channel between. The “Maid of the Mist” is a boat from the American side, and we took the “Hornblower” which was the Canadian equivalent, taking you for a closer look at the American and Bridal Veil Falls, into the mouth of the thunderous Horseshoe Falls. We were already drenched from the “Journey Behind the Falls” earlier - both attractions definitely worth it!
