#yogatutorial: #urdhvadhanurasana or #upwardbow to people with tight shoulders can be quite challenging. As a #yogateacher you could:
1⃣ Get the student to hold your ankle, and push herself up, or
2⃣ On top of that, wrap a yoga strap or a towel under her #shoulderblades and pull her towards your legs as she pushes up, or
3⃣ Put two very sticky blocks under feet to elevate her lower body, or
4⃣ All of the above 🙊🙊🙊 But sometimes she might not be able to straighten her arms or simply can't come up, in which case she should stay in half upward bow (top of the head stays on the floor) and work on shoulder opening poses and #hipflexor opening.
