概要:

-天文学者たちは、研究を行い、過去の金星の視覚イメージを作成しました。

- 金星の歴史の大部分の間は、海、適正な気温、安定した構造プレートを持っていたとされています。

- この時代、惑星はおおむね海で覆われており、9～304メートルの深さだったとされています。

- 7億年前に取り返しのつかないことが起こる前の30億年の間、金星は生き物が過ごせる環境だったということです！

- 主な説は、惑星の表面の80％を変えてしまった巨大な地理的出来事による、金星上の急激な変化に関係しています。

-マグマが金星の表面で固まって、岩を厚い層で覆ってしまい、それによって岩が二酸化炭素を吸収できなくなりました。

-金星の大気は、すぐに地球の90倍の密度になり、大量の二酸化炭素と合わさり、温室効果を生み出しました。結果、金星の気温は驚きの462度まで上昇。

- 金星の気候が急激に変わってしまい、完全に居住は不可なように思えますが、いつかこの灼熱の惑星が大変身を遂げるような日が来るかもしれない事を、科学者たちは否定していません。

- 金星は、太陽系の中で最も丸い軌道を持っています。

- 太陽系の他のどの惑星と比べても、金星が最も多くの火山を持っています。天文学者たちは、すでに金星の表面に1,600個の火山を発見していますが、人の目では確認できないものが、もっと多く存在する可能性があります。

- 金星の風は、かなりのスピードに達することがあります。大気の雲の層の中では、毎時724キロにも！これは、地球上の最も素早い竜巻よりも早い速度です。

- 金星のゆっくりとした自転が原因で、地球に比べて磁場がかなり弱くなります。

- 金星は、太陽の前を横切っている時に、人間が見ることができる数少ない惑星です。残念ながら、あまり良く起こることではありません。

- 金星は空で最も明るい惑星です。天体では、月に続いて2番目の明るさです。
