1. rush hour 尖峰時刻
2. traffic jam/congestion 塞車/交通阻塞
例: I'm stuck in a traffic jam. 我卡在車陣中~~
3. bumper-to-bumper traffic OR The traffic is bumper to bumper.
=用來形容一輛汽車緊接著一輛汽車，緩緩地前進，前後ㄉ保險桿(bumper)都快碰上啦，可想而知交通是多麼堵塞啦~~
4. gridlock = 全面大堵塞，可當作名詞和動詞用
例: (名詞用法) Sorry we're late. We were caught in a gridlock. = 不好意思，我們遲到了，我們剛剛動彈不了，整個交通大堵塞。
(動詞用法) The city center is gridlocked! = 市中心全面大堵塞啊~~
