2020-07-25 21:00:00"can you please hold my bag for a while?" i said to a friend while trying to fix my shoelaces. i handed her my handbag. she held it and immediately frowned.
"why is your bag so heavy? what do you put inside it?"
and after this precise situation repeated for at least 5 times with 5 other friends (yes i don't have that many friends), i have decided to show /the internet/ what is inside of my bag. what makes it so heavy. it's so heavy that if i throw this bag from the 5th floor of a building, the pavement will crack.

My best memory of the trip was fulfilling our honeymoon dream at last at Disney world. I’m so happy to be the wife of someone who loves disney as much as I do, and whenever we step foot in Disney properties, our eyes just light up and everything is perfect from then on. It has a lot to do with our upbringing I guess, we grew up watching Disney, I fell in love with singing from disney sing-alongs, and really it’s still a place full of dream come trues. I feel so blessed to be in Disney world with my husband, and more importantly staying safe during the trip. We took extra precautions, brought sanitising wipes to all the rides, and although we were frowned on by others as we wipe down every ride we go on, I’m just so glad we stayed safe from covid and that’s why matters most.
I can’t wait for our return, hopefully in safer circumstances. Well, a girl can dream right? 😉❤️

Daily advice for HK immigrants to the West:
If you decide to buy into an area of small lots but big houses (a favorite buying habit of many ethic Chinese whether from Taiwan, HK or the mainland), don’t make a big fuss. People from HK tend to speak louder than average compared to western standards, partly due to living in a crowded and competitive city (sometimes, New Yorkers are the same). With your house being so close to your neighbors, your “foreign” language could be quite the bother. Westerners don’t enjoy hearing a language they don’t know. Many Brits can speak French. You may try to converse in French, if you want to speak loudly. In most upper crest neighborhoods, this sort of big noise production is usually frowned upon. They may not tell you to your face, but you’re not going to be a welcome guest either. Racism may have nothing to do with it, but decorum does. This same advice will also apply when you go out in public. I’m not saying you can’t speak in your native tongue. Of course, you can, but do so quietly and respectfully. The Japanese often keep it down, when they converse in Japanese in a foreign place. Be a bit more like them.
