Flashback Friday to my hike in Fei Ngo Shan earlier this year. I’d love to out on a hike right now but the weather in Hong Kong lately just won’t permit. I’ll be indoors for the foreseeable future it seems. 👀

I got hit up to feature in @couriermedia’s book about small business owners late last year. The book gave me a chance to talk through my process around building small businesses. When I think about each progressive year, some things get easier, other things get more challenging, but the psychological battles seem to be the most persistent. With growth comes expectations on both a financial front but also a responsibility to your team. For the foreseeable future, it seems like my destiny is to keep things lean and light. My current state of mind isn't thrilled with the thought of balancing quality and scale. I don’t get excited about the ongoing responsibilities of managing a vast team nor creating an increasingly larger business that should also grow to serve their ambitions. Instead, it’s been far more compelling to keep a tight-knit circle with which you can connect with individuals on a more direct level. I think the biggest challenge of the whole entrepreneurial journey is optimization. Your success is dependent on your ability to manage (with relatively less) resources and deliver things to a standard that keeps you excited and engaged. But the biggest tip? Find the partner who you can trust, who continues to impress you, and most importantly, you can share the wins and losses with. ilu hahaha @alexmaeland. Don't complain about the things you're not willing to change! 💪 Being stuck in yet another Lockdown is actually the best way to start your fitness journey in my opinion! 🤷‍♂️ I might sound crazy because no gyms , fitness centres are open...but that is my point! 😂 We have literally have nothing to do & so much extra time on our hands which you can use to potentially start your fitness journey!! 🙌 Invest that 45 mins you spend looking at Cat videos on Tik Tok to doing home exercises , going for a nice sweaty run , or doing an online class!! It drives me crazy when I hear people complaining about their weight / being unfit constantly , because at the end of the day....the only person who is holding you back from making that change....is YOU! 👊 And right now is the perfect time to make that change in my opinion...because I mean let's face it! What else can we do!!! 😸 If you lack motivation to work out alone then we are spoilt for choices in Malaysia when it comes to online group classes! You’ve got Places like @tribebx.co , @flyproject.co , @f45_training_damansaraheights & many more that all offer Fun Online Group Classes during Lockdown! You’ve even got places like @joompa which can connect you to certifed coaches for one on one personal training.... I mean the list goes on and on! 😴 We've got one more week left in Lockdown (but you can probably add on another 3 for possible extensions😅) So why not come out of it with that dream body you have always wished for? Or at least with that motivation to stay fit and healthy for the foreseeable future! 💪💪 We can complain as much as we like about not being being fit & not having the body that we want...but at the end of the day , only YOU can make that change!!
