Foreigners who live and work here contribute to our economy and society. They are very much a part of our local community.

Yesterday in Parliament, Lawrence Wong moved a motion for Singapore to stay open in a globalised world. He also asked Parliament to support the government’s management of the foreign work pass numbers, and to deplore the spreading of misinformation about FTAs like the Comprehensive Economic Cooperation Agreement (CECA) to stir up racism and xenophobia.

Our policies on foreign workers have created many jobs and opportunities. Still, Singaporeans are anxious and concerned about competition from the foreigners working here. We are addressing these concerns, and the problems caused by having a large foreign population in our midst. But as I said at the National Day Rally recently, we must remain open and welcoming to foreigners. If we turn inwards and become hostile to them, it would ruin us as a global hub and cost us investments and jobs (https://go.gov.sg/ndr2021-el).

The debate stretched past midnight. It was an important debate. At stake were not just our policies on foreigners, but the values of our society, and our confidence and resolve to face an uncertain world, and chart our way forward together.

I am glad MPs took a firm and unequivocal stance against racism and xenophobia, and firmly rejected attempts to use Singaporeans’ fears and anxieties to divide and weaken us. It bodes well for our future. – LHL

Thanks to the digital era and the rapid advancement of technologies, the mediums available to the modern artists are not limited to canvas on an easel. Instead, they utilize video, sound, electronic music, installation, and various new media to explore different issues, such as family, memory, city, society, landscape, and environment. Hence, in the “New Media Tour” program, nine brilliant pieces created by Taiwanese artists will be shared as the relay points for the “Taiwan Grand Tour.” We firmly believe that digital tools can also capture the warmth and emotions in reality. This program consists of nine artworks: "Surrounding Spectrum"(Directed by Hsiu-Ming Wu), "Nanyang Express II : Eternal Wandering and Tropical Pursuing"(Directed by Yi-Chi Lin), "Wave Waves"(Directed by Sio-Pang Hong), "That ・ This"(Directed by Ching-Chuan Hu), "Signal"(Directed by Chin-Hsiang Hu), "Tower of Babel by the sea"(Directed by Wei-Chung Feng), "How to explain love to an iPhone"(Directed by Jie-Huai Yang), "U+617E_v2.∞"(Directed by Jia-Hua Zhan), and "Absence in Presence"(Directed by Ning Tsai). 【ガリマヨ照り焼きチキン】
今日は、ご飯にぴったりでお弁当のおかずにもオススメの『鶏もも肉のガーリックマヨ照り焼き』を作りました！
材料からして間違いないレシピですが、少し小さめに切った鶏モモ肉に片栗粉をまぶしてこんがり焼いて、調味料を絡めるだけ！
超簡単なのに、お肉はこんがりとして味がしっかり絡んでご飯がめちゃ進みます。今日のご飯何にしようかなと思った時にはぜひこちらお試しください！！

【Garlic mayonnaise teriyaki chicken】
Today, I made "Garlic Mayo Teriyaki Chicken Thigh" which is perfect for rice and recommended as a side dish for lunch!
It's definitely a recipe from the ingredients, but all you have to do is sprinkle the chicken thighs, which are cut into small pieces, with potato starch, bake them, and entangle the seasonings!

It is one of the 100 famous stores located about 10 minutes on foot from Nagoya Station. Nagoya has a unique coffee shop culture that is not found in other areas, so that the image of coffee shop and morning is firmly established. It seems that Bucho is derived from the owner's nickname, "Ogura Kaiser" with plenty of low-sweetness Ogura cooked by the owner's mother on a round Kaiser bread (there is also a normal toast) and strong coffee roasted in-house. 今日は、『ナスのガリバタステーキ』を作りました！片栗粉をまぶして焼くことで周りはこんがりとして、しかも美味しいガリバタソースがしっかりと絡みます。そして中はとろっとろ！口に入れたらとろけるナスステーキが仕上がります。
