Having sinusitis during study break is awful. Sore throat, runny nose, headache, fever, ear fullness, epistaxis, coughing and vomiting for more than a week. Admitted into hospital, getting iv antibiotics, normal saline, various medication, being drowsy the entire day, unable to focus for revision. Thanks @ivantan5 and @seanquah who sent me to hospital before i would faint somewhere alone in the hostel room. I used to poke people with needles but when it's my turn i kinda scare too (iv cannulation damn painful for me). Being sick is so helpless (especially already stress for something else, feel like just cry and do nothing else, but still have to stand up and fight). It's scary to see bloody mucus secreting nonstop, for a moment i wonder what if i would die young because of complications. Before full recovery, i requested for discharge because of final exam tomorrow and the day after tomorrow. Wish everything would be fine though im so unprepared like never before. And health is so so so precious before everything. (The hospital bill scares me off a little bit, too, without lonpac covering me i would be damn pokai during graduation) There i realized how amazing is my future job as a doctor, to gain the power of healing. Like i wished back in student's days, wanting to help people and all. Ah before this i have to graduate. And tmr is an important day to squeeze out all my knowledges for 5 years.
