The blind and visually impaired community has definitely took a toll from the impact of Covid-19 At least 90% of the community based on MAB Survey experienced almost no income - the freelance masseuses, baskers, petty traders and other odd job workers. It pains me to know that even some of them are the sole breadwinners of the family 😢 Imagine how much suffering they had to go while learning how to deal with the pandemic As our restrictions of lockdown slowly easing up, I’ve pledge to take action and help with whatever I can, and I’m so glad we were able to distribute grocery goods to 35 blind individuals & their family to help ease a small part of their daily needs 🙏🏻 A little help goes a long way and I believe we don’t need a reason to be kind ❤️ @visionwithhope @malaysianassoc.fortheblind @msworldmy @fantasticgolden #missworldmalaysia2021

🤰 Pregnancy update: 23 weeks with identical twins 👯‍♂️ The babies 👶🏻 👶🏻: - each 500g+, growing almost equally (thankfully, for now) - kicking like crazy 😜 - esp active after dinner and during my Netflix session lol The Mama 🤰: - gained 8+kg so far - am almost as big as a 30+w singleton pregnancy - can no longer sit up straight: always need pillow support and lean back in sun tanning position 😎 - taking iron, Vitamin D, magnesium and calcium supplement for healthy 🩸 and 🦴 for me and babies. - can only sleep on my sides with pillow between knees to support my back - eating lots of dark greens 🥬 and protein 🍗 and fruits 🍎 for steady growth - heartburn in full swing - still exercising moderately everyday (gentle bounce, light weight training, Pilates and flexibility/restorative exercises on the mat). Thankfully no backache thanks to the back and core muscles doing its work to support the extra weight! 💪 - no stretch marks (yet) (exercising helps with skin elasticity esp Bouncing on the trampoline) - no swelling (yet) (again, exercising helps with preventing water rentention, esp Bouncing on the trampoline) - in better mood generally 🙃 (husband may not quite agree 🤫) - thank you hormones for easing up on me, and again, exercising helps w mood big time! Esp bouncing lol. - working less and planning to go into semi maternity break from week 24 as recommended for twin pregnancies (due to preterm labor risks). - naps for the win 😉 PS: almost done with filming a full Fit Pregnancy workout series with over 20 videos for safe and effective workouts for mamas during each trimester and tips for staying fit through the pregnancy.
