Apa tu preskripsi?

Surat ubat yang doktor tulis setiap kali jumpa pesakit. Then patient bawak surat ubat pergi ke kaunter farmasi untuk dapat ubat. Haaa itu lah preskripsi.

Ramai yang tidak tahu sebagai patient, kalau korang pergi ke klinik swasta, korang ada hak untuk mendapatkan surat ubat/preskripsi.

Dengan adanya preskripsi ni, patient boleh buat pilihan sama ada nak ambil ubat dari klinik tu ataupun dapatkan daripada farmasi luar.

KENAPA NAK BELI DARI FARMASI LUAR? SELALU AMIK TERUS LA DARI KLINIK TU KAN.

Antara faedah patient dapat preskripsi:

1) Patient boleh buat pilihan untuk ambil ubat dekat klinik tu atau beli di luar.

2) Slip ubat tu akan di counter check oleh pharmacist untuk make sure ubat tu betul dan sesuai dengan pesakit. We always apply this 5B concept. (Pesakit, Ubat, Dos, Cara guna & Masa pengambilan yang betul).

2. Patient boleh dapat resit pembelian ubat. Sebelum ini jika pergi ke klinik swasta bukan semua klinik swasta membekalkan resit (upon request). So kita tahu how much we pay for the consultation & how much we pay for the medication.

3. Patient yang dapatkan ubat di Farmasi dengan kehadiran pharmacist boleh dapat counselling ubat dengan lebih tepat dan boleh bertanya berkaitan ubat dengan pharmacist tersebut. Dah semakin banyak klinik swasta hire pharmacist untuk beri ubat di kaunter, this is something we are looking forward in every private clinic. Dont let SPM leaver or just anyone without the knowledge to dispense medication.

4. Patient pun boleh pilih ubat ikut kemampuan harga sama ada nak beli ubat berjenama atau ubat generik yang jauh lagi murah but with the same efficacy.
