Wow the rumours of high spawning rate of Gastly, Drowzee, Haunter, Cubone, Meowth, Zubat, Ekans, Zubat for Halloween festive is true. Just went out and I got these much of pokemons. The candies for these pokemon also doubled! Not sure how many of you still playing Pokemon but anyway have a fun Halloween ahead.

玩Pokémon Go，學英文！

「Pokémon」就是以前的「神奇寶貝」，現在的「精靈寶可夢」，也就是「口袋怪獸」，會翻譯成「口袋怪獸」就是因為「Pokémon」其實是「pocket（口袋）」+「monster（怪獸）」

精選15隻耳熟能詳的精靈寶可夢，一起探討寶可夢命名的造字原則吧！
1. Bulbasaur 妙蛙種子：bulb（鱗莖）＋ saur（蜥蜴，希臘文）
2. Bellsprout 喇叭芽： bell（鐘）＋ sprout（發芽）
3. Cubone 卡拉卡拉：cub（幼獸）＋ bone（骨頭）
4. Caterpie 綠毛蟲：caterpillar（毛毛蟲）
5. Chansey 吉利蛋：chance（運氣）＋ chancy（偶然的）
6. Dragonite 快龍：dragon（龍）＋ knight（騎士）
7. Goldeen 角金魚：goldfish（金魚）＋ queen（女王）
8. Meowth 喵喵：meow（貓叫聲）
9. Oddish 走路草：odd（奇怪的）＋ radish（蘿蔔）
10. Psyduck 可達鴨：psychic（精神的）＋duck（鴨）
11. Poliwag 蚊香蝌蚪：polliwog（蝌蚪）＋ wag（搖擺）

學完一些新單字之後，也來學4個常用片語來運用吧！
1. be fond of 喜歡：I am fond of cute Pokémon. (我喜歡可愛的寶可夢。)
2. be addicted to 著迷、上癮：Everyone is addicted to playing Pokémon Go at all times. (大家無時無刻都一直在玩Pokémon Go。)
3. violate the traffic rules 違反交通規則： Playing Pokémon Go while driving violates the traffic rules. (開車的時候玩Pokémon Go違反了交通規則。)
4. eat up 耗盡：Playing Pokémon Go eats up the power of your smartphones very soon. (玩Pokémon Go會把智慧型手機的電都一下子消耗完。)
