美國駐捷克大使館和駐捷克臺北經濟文化辦事處於9月13日共同舉辦「全球供應鏈重組：降低遭受經濟衝擊脆弱性的策略（捷克的機會與挑戰）」GCTF國際研討會。此研討會聚焦討論供應鏈的安全，同時彰顯台灣在全球供應鏈的專業知識和重要角色，並展現美國與歐洲和亞洲理念相近夥伴合作的信念。美國駐捷克大使館代辦白可芝（Jennifer Bachus）出席致詞，國務院經濟商業事務局資深官員墨瑞（Matt Murray）也以視訊方式參加，表達美國對供應鏈議題的重視。

The event titled “Global Supply Chains Reset: Strategies for Reducing Vulnerability to Economic Coercion (Opportunities and Challenges for the Czech Republic)” focused on topics related to supply chain security, showcased Taiwan's expertise and important role in global supply chains, and demonstrated U.S. engagement with both like-minded partners in Europe and Asia. U.S. Embassy Chargé d ́affaires Jennifer Bachus delivered remarks and U.S. Department of State Economic and Business Affairs Senior Bureau Official Matt Murray participated in the event virtually.

The United States stands together with Lithuania against economic coercion from China, Secretary of State Antony Blinken told visiting Lithuanian Foreign Minister Gabrielius Landsbergis in Washington on Wednesday.

MOFA would like to thank the co-chairs and members of the #FormosaClub in the #EuropeanParliament and national parliaments for their joint letter to the leadership of the #EuropeanUnion and #NATO expressing their solidarity with Lithuania, in light of the campaign of political and economic pressure targeting the country over its decision to allow the establishment of a Taiwanese Representative Office there.

The letter highlighted the PRC’s recall of its Ambassador to Lithuania and its demand that the country’s ambassador to Beijing also be recalled, along with what it referred to as “blatant economic coercion.” This includes an announcement halting all direct freight trains to #Vilnius, and a bar on exports of key raw materials to the country. The letter also noted attempts in Chinese state media to rally Russia and Belarus to “punish” Lithuania.

The co-chairs expressed their support for Lithuania’s right, as a sovereign nation, to develop economic and cultural ties with Taiwan and called China’s retaliatory actions “a flagrant violation of international diplomatic norms” and a “brazen attack on Lithuania’s sovereignty,” adding that Taiwan is a #LikeMindedPartner of the EU and a global leader in public health.

Under his rule, Eden's Gate has used both coercion and violence to forcibly convert the residents of Hope County, and intimidation to keep them from contacting the outside world for help. When an attempt to arrest Seed ends with the deaths of several lawmen, the player is swept into the armed conflict between Eden's Gate and the remaining Hope County residents, who are organizing themselves into a resistance movement.

The player takes on the role of deputy , a sheriff's deputy who is part of the task force sent to Hope County to arrest Seed. Seed has assumed the title of "the Father" and maintains control over Hope County with the aid of his siblings, known as "the Heralds": Jacob, a former military officer who oversees their armed soldiers; John, a lawyer who has been able to acquire much of the land in Hope County for Eden's Gate; and Faith, who acts as a pacifist to bring the people to believe and trust in her older brother.
