#seewhatshow: Amazon Prime’s Without Remorse was a serviceable action flick held together by Michael B. Jordan playing Navy SEAL John Clark.

But it is NOTHING like the original Tom Clancy book that fans loved. Fans of the book may even hate it for the dumbed-down cliched plot that you could see from a mile away.

And the movie is so obviously trying to set up a Rainbow Six franchise as well.

I would watch this as an action movie but not as a Tom Clancy movie. I doubt we will get anything better than The Hunt for Red October.

最近在Netflix看的電影，是法語片，英譯名稱為《The African Doctor》。（Netflix上有很多外語片都很好看！）

其實電影劇情很cliched，就算不看簡介不看預告片，只要看見海報的牌面，就知道電影的套路。以下有劇透，如果想好好看電影的讀者就先去看吧～～～

劇中非裔醫生在法國醫學院畢業後獲得自己國家總統邀請當私人醫生，但他不願為壓榨國民的政府工作，反而為了子女的前途願意到法國某個鳥不生蛋的偏僻農村當醫生。在種族歧視下，醫生的診所長期無人問津，所謂「馬死落地行」，他唯有去當農夫學徒賺錢維生。

我想起我之前工作時遇到一位將要考取專科執照的醫生。同樣為了子女的將來，他已經全盤計劃好移民的計劃，他說的一句我很深刻：就算去到新地方，之前六年的專科訓練都不算數、甚至要重新從醫學院開始讀起，他也不介意。甚至到最後不能當醫生，他也想好了自己其他的技能，準備好要轉行的準備。我聽見也覺得很唏噓。

這部電影，如果我在幾年前看，或者只會覺得劇情很無聊很predictable，但配合現在的氛圍環境，又有另一番感受......
