$1 Nasi Lemak?! Yes, for real. With the increasing cost of living, it’s rare to find hawkers who insist on keeping their food at such low prices to cater to the elderly residents living in the area. I love how there are still business owners who would display the kampong spirit in this manner.

Other items on their menu that are equally affordable are Mee Siam, Mee Rebus and Lontong (going at $2.50 per plate). Despite the low prices, the quality of food is still not bad! I can understand why their loyal customers would be willing to brave the queue and keep on coming back.
