1989，英國的電腦科學家 Tim Berners-Lee 發明了 WWW (World Wide Web)，後來被尊稱為網路之父。

歷經 32 年後的今天，蘇富比將要以 NFT 的形式拍賣當年 Tim Berners-Lee 開發 WWW 的相關程式碼及文件，包含：

其實自從上次第一則 Twitter 貼文拍賣以來，對許多人來說創作的定義就被延伸了。

仔細思考一下，從古至今，拍賣品的存在彷彿就是這麼一回事——把人類歷史上存在的有形事物，化為有價格的東西。

之前是史上第一篇 Twitter 貼文，今天是 WWW 的開發紀錄，接下來搞不好就會是 LOL 的程式、阿波羅 11 號登月的程式、Python 之父當年創造 Python 的原始碼、微軟 Windows 的起源、史上第一款彩蛋遊戲、甚至搞不好還能追溯回二戰艾倫．圖靈的歷史......。

這趟「數位回溯之旅」，才正要展開。

想得更深一點，就會發現人類一切的行為軌跡都可以用 NFT 來記錄呈現。這些痕跡，除了被帶到世人眼中看見以外，還能透過有心人的出價被永久保存在區塊鏈上

在 NFT 發展的歷程中，我們已經看見數位畫作、新聞文章、迷因圖、搞笑影片、程式碼、總統大選、一哭二鬧三上悠亞、與 FTX 創辦人共進午餐......都可以被包裝成 NFT 進行拍賣。

這場 #數位博物館化 的革新，已經悄悄在顛覆我們本來的認知。

🌟On Friday 14 May, a special event will be organized online via Zoom. This will start with a screening of ‘SKY SKY’, a short film directed by the Thai director Nonzee Nimibutr. It is part of ‘Angel Sign’ – a dialogue-free film of interconnected stories based on five silent manga.

🌟The event will also include a panel discussion ‘Manga for a Cause’ which will feature cartoonist Sa-ard, manga storyboard writer Aruntiwa, and visual communications design lecturer Chanisa Changadvech from Silpakorn University, moderated by web-comic artist Vicmon. Lucky participants will have a chance to win prizes including Silent Manga Catalogues.

It's spring cleaning time and we desperately needed to take care of the cat corner after filling it up with all our house catalogues. The cat tower poles (which I'm pretty sure have some sort of hand-stabbing PLASTIC rope?!) have also been shredded to the point where our cats now sometimes slip when trying to climb it and therefore don't use it as often. So we bought some actual rope to replace it with, severely underestimating the amount of rope it requires to wrap cat poles.

For the record, we used maybe 50-55 meters (~55-60 yards) of 6mm hemp rope (on a 10cm thick pole, about 110cm in length, if anyone out there needs to make their own calculations), which cost about 1,200 yen (~$12) per 20 meters. So it makes sense why they would use something cheap, plastic and stabby when making the original product... Anyway, we could only do the two most used poles instead of all of them today. But that's okay, because we also underestimated how long it would take to re-wrap the poles, and there wouldn't have been enough hours in the day to do the whole thing anyway!
