"The enemy has no defense against those who know they are God’s beloved!"

Immediately after Jesus was baptized, He was led into the wilderness to be tempted by the devil. The devil came to Jesus and said, “If You are the Son of God, command that these stones become bread” (Matthew 4:3). Now, don’t forget that Jesus had just heard the voice of His Father affirming Him with the words “You are My beloved Son.” Do you notice that the devil deliberately left out the word “beloved”?

Friend, for the devil’s temptations to work, he cannot remind you that you are God’s beloved. The moment you are reminded of your identity as God’s beloved in Christ, he will not be able to succeed! It is no wonder that the devil wants to rob believers of their sense of being God’s beloved. So don’t fall for the devil’s trick. Remind yourself today and every day that you are God’s beloved!

I saw some discussion threads about water baptism. Some Christians think that water baptism is necessary for salvation. But is it really needed?

“He said to them, “Go into all the world, and preach the Good News to the whole creation. He who believes and is baptized will be saved; but he who disbelieves will be condemned.” (Mark‬ ‭16:15-16‬ ‭WEB‬‬)

Many believe so because of the passage above. However, Jesus was not talking about water baptism. He was referring to another baptism that the apostle Paul later on clearly revealed.

When you get baptized in the Holy Spirit, the spiritual gifts deposited in your spirit get activated, and then begins the exciting journey of discovering and operating in the gifts and ministry that the Holy Spirit specially chose for you.

Your gifts and ministry inclinations are the clues to help you find identify your God-given calling. Everyone has one, and the ultimate purpose is to save souls and let God be glorified.

No one can fulfilling your calling better than you because your experiences and relationships are unique. There is a connection and access you have that others don’t.

God is a master artist, and each of us add an integral stroke of paint to His canvas.

You have a calling to fulfill, so it’s time to get up from the bench, and walk into the field. From now on, you are not just a spectator, but a contributor who showcases God’s love in a way that is uniquely yours!

They came to John and said to him, “Rabbi, that man who was with you on the other side of the Jordan—the one you testified about—look, he is baptizing, and everyone is going to him.” To this John replied, “A person can receive only what is given them from heaven.
The bride belongs to the bridegroom. The friend who attends the bridegroom waits and listens for him, and is full of joy when he hears the bridegroom’s voice. That joy is mine, and it is now complete.
For the one whom God has sent speaks the words of God, for God gives the Spirit without limit. The Father loves the Son and has placed everything in his hands. Whoever believes in the Son has eternal life, but whoever rejects the Son will not see life, for God’s wrath remains on them.」
