The Pahang State Forestry Department (JPNP) has taken the initiative to restore the degraded area of Cameron Highlands by running 34 series of go green programs during the years 2014 to 2018.
A total of 33,000 trees have been planted in 44 hectares of the Hutan Simpan Kekal Cameron Highlands. Higher ground tree species such as Gerok (Exbucklandia populnea), Meranti Bukit (Shorea platyclados), Damar Minyak (Agathis borneensis), Podo Kebal Musang (Nageia wallichiana) and Rhu Bukit (Gymnostoma sumatranum) has been planted.
Meanwhile, a total of 94,000 trees were also planted by JPNP in collaboration with the Sultan Ahmad Shah Environmental Trust (SASET) during 2011 to 2018 in Kuantan, Pekan, Maran, Jerantut, Temerloh, Bera, Bentong, Raub, and Lipis.

Jabatan Perhutanana Negeri Pahang (JPNP) telah mengambil inisiatif bagi pemulihan kawasan terosot di Cameron Highlands dengan mengadakan sebanyak 34 siri program penghijauan sepanjang tahun 2014 hingga 2018.
Sebanyak 33,000 pokok telah ditanam dalam 44 hektar kawasan Hutan Simpan Kekal Cameron Highlands. Pokok spesies tanah tinggi seperti Gerok (Exbucklandia populnea), Meranti Bukit (Shorea platyclados), Damar Minyak (Agathis borneensis), Podo Kebal Musang (Nageia wallichiana) dan Rhu Bukit (Gymnostoma sumatranum) telah ditanam.
Dalam pada itu, sebanyak 94,000 pokok telah ditanam oleh JPNP dengan kerjasama Sultan Ahmad Shah Environmental Trust (SASET) sepanjang 2011 hingga 2018 di Kuantan, Pekan, Maran, Jerantut, Temerloh, Bera, Bentong, Raub, dan Lipis.

Yesterday a Harum Manis, today an Agathis Borneensis. It was a nice, sunny morning in Fernvale, perfect for tree planting! The Agathis Borneensis, also known as the Malayan Kauri, can grow up to 50m high, so with love and care, it will grow strong together with the young ones in the neighbourhood.
