I didn’t meet my father until I was 6 years old. My parents had a comfortable, middle-class life in Shanghai, or as close as you could get under communism. But they always wanted to live overseas, and just before I was born, my dad came to Sydney to set things up. I don’t know why, but in the end, my mother and I didn’t join him until I was 6.

Unfortunately, half a year after we arrived, he left us. That was a huge shock. Our transition had already been quite difficult, as we both didn't speak English. Also, as Shanghai was such a big bustling city, Sydney felt a bit like the countryside, especially on the weekends, as no shops were open back then!

As we had become socially isolated, we didn’t find out anything about Centrelink, so we survived on her savings for a while, and then got some help from her family back in China.

Eventually, Mum moved us down to Melbourne, where we were able to make some new networks and family friendships. But I was bullied a bit at school about things like my food and clothing! Whenever someone bullied me, I would defend myself, but because I didn’t have the language skills to explain to the teacher why, I got in trouble quite a bit. I ended up having to move school 3 times before I came to Balwyn Primary School, which was relatively multicultural.

After that, I did alright. Music featured very prominently in my life. I had started learning the violin from the age of 2.5 years old and even with all the troubles that were going on in my life, had somehow still kept up with it. As a result, I got a music scholarship to Trinity Grammar School. But even there I used to get into quite a lot of mischief, and would often skip school to go to the movies.

安德烈·威格尼 ＜狂想曲＞給中音薩克斯風和管弦樂團或鋼琴

1942年1月28日，安德烈·威格尼（1942-2015）生於比利時介於瓦隆佛蘭德和法國邊境的小鎮——穆斯克隆。
他是在貧困中長大的。他的父親是SNCB（比利時國家鐵路）的員工，而母親在圖爾昆（瓦隆佛蘭德）紡織品工廠工作。由於父親參加當地的管樂團，讓他從小接觸到各種樂器，因此造就了他對於音樂色彩及樂團力度層次等變化，與對音樂的感受，具有相當細膩的靈敏度。
他的音樂生涯非常傳統而規矩：他曾在比利時布魯塞爾音樂學院和比利時蒙斯皇家音樂學院學習音樂理論、風格寫作、音樂史、和聲、對位、作曲、小號、鋼琴和室內樂。當時，他已是法國里爾的ORTF（法國廣播電台）爵士樂隊的音樂家，也為此樂團創作及改編很多很好的作品。
1965年，他回到家鄉並任教於穆斯克隆音樂學院；1970年，他接任管理學院的「西方音樂俱樂部」，也創建了比利時最佳爵士樂團。1974年，他成為蒙斯皇家音樂學院的音樂理論教授；他被任命為考試及比賽部門的主任，於1977年轉任到比利時圖爾奈音樂學院。1982年，他編籍了蒙斯皇家音樂學院的和聲課程；並於1987年，被任命布魯塞爾皇家音樂學院的和聲教授直到2007年正式退休。

本場演出的這首作品是為中音薩氏管和交響樂團所創作的狂想曲，這是他在2009年，被「國際阿道夫·薩氏管協會」所感動，而答應創作給第五屆阿道夫薩氏管大賽作為決賽的指定曲，他在2010年創作完成並出版，並在標題上寫下「獻給他的父親及比利時阿道夫薩氏管主席——Alain Crepin」。
本曲共分三個樂章，是快、慢、快的形式，在技巧上具有非常高的難度，但音樂卻非常優美動聽：
樂曲的第一樂章開頭由獨奏家奏出華麗的上行線條，與鋼琴製造出豐富自然泛音的特殊音響效果，本樂章中充滿了高度技巧的快速音群，伴隨著許多大跳音程，增加了樂章的難度與華麗。
第二樂章是非常具有表現力與音樂性的樂章，在甜美的前奏後，再由獨奏者奏出優美又恬靜的主題，藉由薩克斯風獨特飽滿的音色表現出寧靜的氣氛與色彩，讓本樂章就像浪漫般的夢境。
第三樂章速度較第二樂章快上許多，在情緒上有極大的轉變。開頭由鋼琴奏出義大利塔朗泰拉舞曲形式的三連音斷奏，也是本樂章的主題。整樂章鋼琴都維持著此舞曲的節奏動機，並由薩克斯風接奏出主題；後續以十六分音符快速流動的表現，帶出主題的線條，最後在薩克斯風快速音群及大跳音型中，進入超高音音域，激動的結束樂曲。

208年赤壁之戰後，原先短暫領有荊州的曹操只保住荊州北部南陽郡、江夏郡，而中南部被孫劉聯軍佔據。曹操之後從南陽郡中分出襄陽郡、南鄉郡，荊州成為三分割據的局面：南郡、零陵、武陵歸劉備，江夏、桂陽、長沙歸孫權，南陽、襄陽、南鄉歸曹操。一般認為這階段三家各占三郡的局面是「荊襄九郡」一詞的來源。
張家界是著名的旅遊城市，素有「奇峰三千，秀水八百」的美譽。武陵源砂岩峰林地貌景觀為世所罕見，1992年12月獲聯合國教科文組織列入世界自然遺產。張家界因旅遊建市，得天獨厚的自然景觀和民族文化，賦予了張家界極為豐富的旅遊資源。全市擁有國家5A級景區2處，4A級景區9處，省級重點文物保護單位8處。境內最為重要的景區為武陵源風景名勝區，它由中國大陸第一個國家森林公園——張家界國家森林公園和天子山自然保護區、索溪峪自然保護區、楊家界四大景區組成。1982年9月，張家界國家森林公園成為中國大陸第一個國家森林公園；1988年8月，武陵源風景名勝區被列入國家第二批國家重點風景名勝區，1992年被聯合國教科文組織列入《世界自然遺產名錄》；2004年張家界世界地質公園成為首批世界地質公園；2007年，張家界武陵源旅遊區成為首批國家5A級旅遊景區。
武當山景區總面積312平方公里，是世界文化遺產、中國國家5A級旅遊景區、國家重點風景名勝區和文物保護單位。為中國四大道教名山之首。武當山主要景區有金頂景區、南岩景區、太子坡景區、福壽康寧園景區、玄岳門景區、瓊台景區和五龍宮景區。
金頂景區位於天柱峰周圍，由朝天宮、一二三天門、太和宮等組成。
太和宮建於明永樂14年（1416年），現在為全國重點宗教活動場所和重點文物保護單位。宮中主體建築金殿位於峰頂，為銅製仿木結構建築。
南岩景區
南岩景區位於山腰，由紫霄宮、南巖宮、榔梅祠等景點組成。
紫霄宮在展旗峰下，是武當現存最完整的宮殿之一。整個建築採用皇家建築法式，現為全國重點宗教活動場所和重點文物保護單位，是武當山道教協會所在地。

I was very busy on my two big exams(concerts) last month
One is what we called technical exam
Another one is my first master (FYP) concert
I was totally not able to upload my new video through whole month
So, the video of today
I am going to show you one of my technical exam which I played in my conservatory in Brussels on my exam this year.
I took one of jazz standards which is called “I’ll remember April” and do arranging on it.
