《家中常被忽略的財位》(English version below)
THE OFTEN NEGLECTED STORE OF WEALTH IN YOUR HOME

勘察居家風水這麼多年，當然清楚明白，爲何還是有這麼多，這麼多的貧寒家庭。有些人認爲，風水是屬於富貴人家的，貧寒人家無法擁有之。吾，玳瑚師父，請講這些話的人，勿長她他人之氣，滅自己威風。吾實實在在的告訴大家，好的風水既不是屬於富貴人家的，也不是屬於貧寒人家的。那它到底是屬於誰的？它是屬於福德、功德兼備之人的。富貴人家未必有德行之人。貧窮人家未必無德行之人。積善之家 必有貴人臨。

有位婦人因同事推薦，致電於吾欲請吾「出山」，爲她的新居勘查風水，以及爲她批看大運等等。她的誠意爲她邀得吾，相當的時間及寶貴的佛法與玄學知識。祇是苦了吾，事後必需得加班，完成吾例常公事罷了。（一笑）這位婦人在談話中告訴吾，她家中有供奉神明，吾就問她其家中，所供奉之神明尊稱。她答一尊是「南無大慈大悲觀世音菩薩」。另一尊則是「土地公」。吾的經驗是，有些人會錯把「福德正神大伯公」當成門口「土地神」來拜。這位婦人就是其中一位也。吾當然適時而教，是義務也是介紹吾的「好朋友」，讓妳你們認識。

大家要謹記以下這幾點：

一、一般的家庭，不宜供奉太多的神明。基本上，三尊足矣。

二、神明之金身，一定要請真修行得力的師父，擇日開光點眼。

三、對供奉的神明，最最基本的，應該曉得祂們尊稱才是。就好比身爲子女的我們，總得曉得父母的姓名，是一樣的道理啊！而且，在我們早晨出外謀生之前，上香時尊稱其聖號，是感應道交的第一步也。

四、知曉佛、菩薩、神明的佛辰聖誕或千秋，是感應道交的第二步。

五、神龕或神桌，應擺放在那裡，是有其學問與玄機的，這也唯有真懂的師父，才能效勞之。

吾，玳瑚師父，在此實實在在的告訴大家，神位其實也是家中，非常重要且有力的財位。吾曾用此法幫助多年不得志的公務員，登上其夢寐以求的第一把交椅。也幫助過一甲子歲數的老婦人，走出廚房重新踏入社會，擁有她的另一片天空，等等。大家必需知道，祖先牌位及西方信仰的擺設，同屬神位也。神位一定要安置在藏風聚氣之處。神位也最好在不動方，等等。神位若安置得非常妥當，住者精神飽滿、事業有成、財源不斷、招財進寶⋯⋯。若妳你已受夠貧窮，就好好的打理，妳你家中常被忽略的財位吧！

After so many years of doing Feng Shui audits, I obviously fully understand why many families are living in poverty. Some people feel that Feng Shui is only for the rich, and out of reach for the poor. I wish to tell these people not to deflate their own morale. Good Feng Shui belongs neither to the rich nor the poor. So who does it belong to? It belongs to the virtuous ones that have also accumulated a lot of merits and good fortune. A rich family may not have virtuous members. Likewise, a poor family may have virtuous members. A family that accumulates virtuous acts will definitely see the descent of benefactors.

Upon recommendation by her colleague, a lady called me, hoping I would come out of my semi-retreat and audit her residence Feng Shui, and analyse her fortunes. Her sincerity got me to give her much of my time and precious knowledge of the Dharma and Chinese Metaphysics. Poor me, as I have to work “overtime” to complete my usual matters. (laughs) In the conversation, this lady told me that she enshrined deities in her house. I asked her for Their names. She replied that one of them is the Namo Guan Shi Yin Bodhisattva and the other is the Earth God. In my experience, many people confuse the Earth God at their doorstep with the God of Fortunes and Virtues. Indeed, this lady was one of them. Of course I took the opportunity to teach her, and at the same time, made it my responsibility to introduce my “good friend” to everyone.

Everyone must remember these few pointers:

1. Most homes are not suitable to enshrine too many deity statues. Basically, 3 statues are more than enough.

2. You must engage an accomplished spiritual cultivator to perform consecration for the statue on an auspicious date.

3. The most basic respect towards the deities you enshrine is to know the right way to address Them. This is just like, as children, we should at least know the names of our parents! Also, before we leave our homes in the morning to eke a living, to offer incense to the deities and address Them by Their holy names is the first step to merge your thoughts with those of the Deities.

4. To know the holy birthdays of the Buddhas, Bodhisattvas and deities is the second step to merge your thoughts with those of Them.

5. The positioning of the altar is a deep and profound subject. Only a master with genuine knowledge can assist you on this.

Let me, Master Dai Hu, tell everybody truthfully：in your home, the altar is a very critical and influential store of wealth.

I had applied this technique in the past to help a civil servant, a laggard in his career for many years, achieve his long-desired highest rank in his department. Similarly, I had also helped an elderly lady over 60 years of age to step out of the kitchen and re-entered the workforce, claiming her new lease of life. There are more examples.

Everyone needs to know that both the ancestor’s tablet and shrines of western faith are considered altars. Altars must be located at the concentration spot of positive energies, and ideally with minimum movement around it, etc.

If the altar is positioned correctly, the occupants of the house will be in good spirits and full of vigour, enjoying success in career and continuous inflow and attraction of wealth & treasures.
