    This post celebrates the amazing designers and brands that brought sparkle to “A Night at the Musicals” (with the City Chamber Orchestra of Hong Kong) last June 12th.

    My friend & stylist @styledbybhisan let his creativity run wild, and I’m so glad he knows me so well.

    We chose some of our favourite brands— and we love them not just for their stunning pieces, but because the people behind them are amazingly supportive and wonderful to work with.

    So here’s my list of “Thank Yous.” The works of the designers are listed in the comments.

    @debeersofficial . Your jewellery has accompanied me through some very memorable moments in the past three years. You’ve been a talisman to me ❤️

    @jimmychoo . When I have events that require me to look glam AND stand for long periods of time, I trust your shoes... For this concert, you helped me stand confidently for six hours— from dress run to curtain call!

    @victorchanstudio . I was at your studio too many times this season— thanks for putting up with my antics. And thank you for making that flowing black cape for this “Phantom.” I cannot tell you how much I keep coming back to your beautiful black dress (among your other gorgeous work!)

    @vivianlukatelier . I’m so glad you’ve returned to your craft. Your aesthetic is too elegant to be missed. I’m grateful we’ve become friends, and I can’t wait for our collabs on empowering young girls.

    @susannasooatelier . Your style is unmistakeable. Thank you for taking the time to really share your ideas. The end result— the stunning blue dress— is a dream. I couldn’t think of a slinkier dress (and cape) for Act 2, and the fact that we got that done over lunch was really fun.

    @stjohnknits . I’m so glad I got to know you this year. Even more than your elegant and glittering knits, I appreciate your support and friendship.

    @gloomykwokmua . Thanks for running after me backstage with the highlighter even while my mind was on other things, lol. Sincerely, thank you.

    Bhisan. Need I say more? It’s amazing collaborating with you, but it’s even better that we believe in similar things, and work towards those goals. On to the next project 😉

    Mom went for her first vaccine jab today at station 3, PWTC. She has been really nervous since the day I told her about her appointment and honestly I was as nervous as her. There was a lot of questions playing in my head. Will mom pull out last minute from fear, how would my little old lady go thru all that crowd, the vaccine centre so huge and there’s a few places that would require scanning and the usage of MYsejahtera app, how would mom coup and will the vaccine given react well to her ..
    I mean I’ve gone to the same station and I have been so taken with the effort, gentleness, helpfulness given by all the volunteers, doctors and everyone there but like a nervous parent at their kids first day of school I still had my worries when it came to
    Moms turn. But to all my delight everyone was extra helpful, extra gentle, extra polite when it came to Senior citizens. They know how stress and how scared the senior citizens are and they put in the extra effort in making them comfortable .. Subhanallah ... there is not enough thank yous that I can give to each and everyone of you that eased my moms day today .. thank you, thank you and thank you 3000 from me Baki Zainal. You guys are HEROES that should be celebrated .
    Of course, it was good to see mama’s smile after her session. She’s feeling a bit warm and sleepy .. so my shift starts now. Gonna be monitoring my little old lady for this next 2 days.
    For you out there whose parents are still not sure .. show them mamas video and hopefully this can help them change their minds.. insyallah ..

    A memorable journey thru Malaysias underwater world Jom Dive ,closes the first chapter tonite..
    Big Warm hugs and thank yous to all of you who has helped finishing this project possible!! Old friends rekindled and new friends made.. thank you to all my Abang Abangs for without even a blink of an eye agreeing to be a part of this project.
    A big big thank you to @broncommunications for coming up with such an awesome show.
    To the most trusting and warm director @hartinaayu thank you for trusting this boy in all his quirkiness ..
    To @zazasofiazainal thank you for having that seed of wanting to work with me.
    To @mohdfarizz thank you for being that light in the deep ocean with me.
    To all my wonderful adik adik @hafizihamidi @airirazali @haziqhasman spong thank you for being an awesome crew ..
    I know i can be difficult to work with some days but above all please accept my most humble bow and thank you.
    Gonna hang my gear up for Ramadan.. till the next season of Jom Dive ..
